MTech Main Project

Title: FPGA Implementation Point-Multiplier in Elliptic Curve Cryptography using

Ghost Bit Basis
Description: ECC can provide security as comparable to conventional cryptosystems with very
short key length. Point Multiplication is one of the most important and difficult operation
in ECC used for obtaining the public key. Point-Multiplication is done using point-addition
and point-doubling which involves several operations like field multiplication, inversion,
division, addition and squaring which makes the Point-Multiplication operation very
complex. The multiplier in Ghost Bit Basis has minimum complexity and performs other
operations as efficiently as other basis.

BTech Main Project

Title: Toll collection using RFID

Description: An RFID system consists of a reader and transponders. Transponders (tags) are
attached to the items to be identified. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) involves
contact less reading of data from an RFID tag's nonvolatile memory through an RF
signal. The reader emits an RF signal and data is read when the tag comes in proximity
to the reader signal. In this system, we use 125 KHz carrier to communicate between the
tag and reader.
