II.

Presentation Firm rationale must be interpreted to evaluate and critic a certain dance concert.

The following are: Choreography Dancers arrangement Body movements Balance and Harmony Dancers and Audience indirect communication Their own Interpretation in a certain dance

The whole presentation nailed its choreography. Momentous and spontaneous sequence of steps turning the production a well choreographed. The step design made each dances a wonderful piece.

The dancers arrangements of their position crafted the show more extravagant and terrific. But some arrangements are repeated such as the formation of a circle that made it common and no good at all. The body movements of each dancer did the near-to-perfection manipulations of their body as it gave the vigorousness of the concert. All the dancers danced gracefully in a crafted way emphasizing proper movements, actions and arrangements. The concert manifested a harmonious piece yet an unequal distribution of interest and energy. Some instances, the concert lost the strong grip of interests of the audience as some dances are sluggish in nature. The prelude of the concert is weak and unable to catch the interest of the crowd in the first place. But the heart of the said concert amazed and astound the mass showing variant and unlackadaisical dances. At some point, the concert failed to permanently attract the audience but raised the bar as they added hilarious and humorous scenes. Moreover, the interpretation in each dance is a success as they demonstrated, played and acted an original-touched and optimistic play.

III.

Dances Flow and Transitions The dances flow is not so good for an individual who are not interested in

indigenous dances. The arrangement fell short to boom the crowd in the first place with unequal dispensed of interest and energy. The concert has mistaken to raise the bar into the highest before the audience loses their desire to watch. The ending

was good which is better enough to close the concert. The transitions are not well practiced leaving some dead air in the stage.

IV.

Musical Score The music made the whole concert a victorious and spirit-filled theater. The

music sounds excellent with its indigenous resonance and original reverberation although technical problems appeared in playing some music affecting the concert a little bit.

V.

Relevance and its Encompassment The encompassment of the concert on Philippine folk dances made a clear and

excellent summing-up of whole folk dances making the concert well-rounded. The play is a revolutionary concert maintaining the culture we took from our ancestors. The play is an epitome of patriotism and pride to our nation. Hence, the concert played a role in transmitting our native culture in the X generation.
