How do you benet from onboard bookings?


When guests book their next cruise onboard, there really are some great benets to agents, Celebrity Cruises and our mutual guests. Our Future Cruise Sales Managers onboard all of our ships have great knowledge, can offer your customers great benets to booking onboard and the booking will come straight back to you! What could be better? In fact, they could be the easiest bookings you ever do! And for those guests who know they would like to sail with Celebrity again but arent sure which cruise to take, weve introduced our new Celebrity Passages. What is a Celebrity Passage? Created for guests who cannot commit onboard to a denite ship or sail date but want to lock down the benets of booking onboard. What are the benets? 45 nights $50 Onboard Credit per stateroom 69 nights $100 Onboard Credit per stateroom 1013 nights $200 Onboard Credit per stateroom 14 nights + $300 Onboard Credit per stateroom Do they pay a deposit? 75 per person, half the usual amount. An invoice is sent to you, the agent. The sail date will show as 2019 and the value as 100k. It doesnt expire and can be used by the guest at any time in the future. When the guest conrms their chosen sailing, they pay the remainder of the deposit. Is there a Booking Reference? Yes. You MUST use this same reference when your customer conrms which sailing they want. Friends & Family too! Each guest booking a Celebrity Passage can have two friends & family bookings with the same benets if they book within 30 days of the original Celebrity Passage confirming and book onto the same cruise. Is it combinable with current UK Campaigns? Currently this is combinable with Eclipse Free Car Parking 2012 and Captains Club 2012 discounts. How will I know my customer has booked a Celebrity Passage? You will receive an invoice. We then ask you to follow up with the client to help them choose their next cruise. Can they buy more than one? Yes. Guests can book as many as they like and remember, they never expire! Back to back bookings? If guests think they may choose a back to back cruise, they would need to book two Celebrity Passages in order to receive the benefits on both sailings. Many guests are starting to do this already. Can guests buy for any brand? Yes, all three of our great brands. They can be onboard a Celebrity Ship and buy an Azamara Passage for example. If they book a Celebrity Passage it can only be used for a Celebrity booking however. Will the booking come back to me? Yes. The booking will always go back to the original agent unless the guest specically states they do not want it to. At that point, the booking will go direct. Guests cannot therefore shop around with other agents. What can I do? Please ensure you advise all your guests prior to sailing that this is a fantastic opportunity for them to receive extra benets whilst they are onboard. Information is available onboard from the Cruise Sales Manager, Daily Programme and Presentations. So why not make the most of getting some great future bookings and loyal customers? A letter of thanks from Travel Counsellors


I had to share with you my thanks for the opportunity for myself and 16 Travel Counsellors to experience the Seminar at Sea mini cruise to Cork onboard Celebrity Eclipse. We had such an amazing time! But who wouldnt onboard this amazing class of ship? Without doubt this trip was all the more enjoyable because we had two amazing professionals to look after us. In my 26 years in travel I have been lucky enough to have enjoyed educationals of all levels, but I have to say that this week I have never before received such amazing hospitality from two gentleman with such professionalism, passion, drive, energy, fun and belief in their product. Leon Hand, your Celebrity trainer is a real asset and credit to Celebrity and the brand, his training quality is exceptional. Leon and your Account Manager Mike Graham are fantastic hosts and we enjoyed every minute of the training and cruise experience. The privileged opportunity to meet some of the head office senior team and be in the presence of the Captain and his rst officers was truly brilliant, we felt like royalty! We have all learned so much, no matter what level our cruise knowledge. The TCs are keen to get back to family, friends and customers to sell Celebrity. They cant wait to qualify as Captains and Admirals on Cruising for Excellence This virtual training really stands above anything else in the industry, with its fun and interactive approach. FOCUS: ECLIPSE IN VENICE

The spectacular Celebrity Eclipse will be taking your guests to the city of canals, Marco Polo and wonderful art. Famed all over the world, Venice is a city infused with culture, history and style. COMING SOON: COUNTDOWN TO CRUISE!


As you know, our guests always have lots of questions before they sail with us, especially if theyve never experienced cruising before. So to help them prepare, we will soon be starting an email programme that will inform our guests all about their cruise and what they need to do before they set sail. This will include vital reminders to check visa requirements and complete online check-in and will also inform guests about what to expect onboard. In order for your customers to benet from this programme, please do make sure you enter their email address at the time of booking.

No trip to Venice would be complete without seeing St. Marks Square, home of the citys 900-year-old basilica. Filled with classic opulence mixed with contemporary chic, Venice is a city that wont disappoint.
