We are soon launching M-dermatology health (mobile dermatology) services for general mobile phone users. Renowned skinvd specialist Prof. Dr. Reza Bin Zaid will give this M-dermatology health advices for general public, which will be launched in February, 2014. Telemedicine Working Group of Bangladesh (TWgBD ) is providing specialized skin health care, child health care, maternal health care and primary health care services for the rural community. These local hubs for Internet and mobile services are now host to remote, real-time patient consultations with specialized doctors through hybrid telemedicine systems. Academic Education: We are introducing online short “Dermatology Certification Course (DCC)”, through which GP’s can gain and upgrade their knowledge and skills for practicing dermatology, venereology and sexology confidently and efficiently in their practices. • www.skinvd.com – is an online dermatology education portal to full-fills General Practitioners (GPs) interest. Through this portal the GPs can read interesting cases and up-dates, can upload their own articles, and can get experts opinions which are essential for their dermatology practice. They can participate interactively by MCQ, Picture quizzes, also can participate in doctor’s forum and discuss and share their knowledge and opinions and can put comments. • www.mimsbd.com- we are also soon launching this online drug index website where doctors can easily search different categories of drugs by their generic name, brand name, company name and by therapeutic class. Also they can get a quick view of the drugs indications, contra-indications, side effects, dosage administration, strength, warnings & pre-cautions and pregnancy category’s. Patient Education: • www.skinproblembd.com – a web-based skin health and education project for patients benefit. Patients can read their disease-info, download their own prescription, and participate in forum to share their experiences, can receive newsletters along with diet- supplement updates and also receive regular tips on ‘healthy skin and beauty’. • www.sexproblembd.com – is a web-based treatment and advice facilities for those who have sexual and relationship problems. In this site one can get perfect solution for sex-health care. Citizen Education: • www.fastaid.com - is a web-based telemedicine facility where general people can get the facility to consult with specialist doctors from home, get the various health and disease information and about their prevention method. It is a web-based telemedicine and EHR (electronic health record) facility. The health-care delivery centers such as, clinics, hospitals, diagnostic centers, health related NGOs can take this facility.
