OUR MISSION & VISION Our Mission to help men in prison reach their fullest in the Lord. What we do Ministering to their spirit, soul and body, though one on one mentoring as their spiritual advisor and friend. How we began Jeremiah Prison Ministry began on November 30, 1999, which was birth out of a bond for a young man that made a wrong choice in life.. Our Vision to be able to go into the prison chapels without the inmates having to take us off their visiting list. We know with God ALL things ARE Possible! 72 men have been released in 13 years. We still are ministering to 68 inmates in 5 states.

Pennsylvania Supreme Court Fails to Follow U.S. Supreme Court Opinion Finding Mandatory Life Without Parole Sentences for uveniles Unconstitutional. We are deeply disappointed that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has decided not to follow the ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court in Miller v. Alabama! that "uveniles convicted of homicide can no longer receive mandatory sentences of life without parole. #he decision also ignores the trend in $oth state and federal courts to find Miller retroactive. %t is trou$ling that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court feels it is appropriate that a "uvenile whose appeal was e&hausted in '()' should not $e resentenced! $ut a "uvenile whose appeal was pending in '()' must $e resentenced. #he vagaries of timing should not determine if a "uvenile should spend the rest of his or her life in prison with no possi$ility of parole. *s Chief ustice Castille notes in his concurrence! to treat these "uveniles differently creates an +ine, uita$le situation.+ %t might $e more accurately characteri-ed as an appallingly un"ust situation. ustice demands that all "uveniles serving mandatory life sentences $e treated the same. #his decision will affect the lives of nearly .(( such inmates in Pennsylvania. %n his dissent! ustice /aer wrote! +% am guided $y the United States Supreme Court0s decision reversing the "udgment of the collateral appeal defendant in Miller and the 1igh Court0s overarching recognition in its development of this area of law that 0children are constitutionally different.0+ +#he 2ighth *mendment is a measure of where we are along our nation0s moral continuum!+ said Marsha Levic3! 4eputy 4irector and Chief Counsel at uvenile Law Center. +Once the United States Supreme Court sets down a mar3er! it is morally unconsciona$le to leave any "uvenile on the other side of that mar3er. ustice Castille seems to recogni-e this! $ut fails to recogni-e that the 2ighth *mendment decisions re,uire retroactive application if we are to maintain moral consistency in our "ustice system.+ +We anticipate as3ing the United States Supreme Court to review this matter so that they can vindicate their decision in Miller that children are different and cannot $e automatically sentenced to life without parole!+ said /radley /ridge of the 4efender *ssociation in Philadelphia. 5Please 6eep Praying for all States7
