Perform Hydraulic Crane Setup Procedures

Terminal Learning Objective


Action: Perform Hydraulic Crane setup procedures. Conditions: At a training site, given a guided discussion on set up procedures, a hydraulic crane, TM 5-3810-307-10, a student guide, an equipment records folder, a grease gun, petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL), rags, goggles, gloves, hearing protection, a kevlar/hard hat, and a pencil. Standards: Perform Hydraulic Crane setup procedures by attaching float pads to stabilizers and extending stabilizers 4" to 6" at a time until they are fully extended. Level the crane by retracting the stabilizers and verifying that the tires are off the ground.
