The Cogent Connection ! | Overview


o The Cogent Connection ! is a reward program. It is designed to reward Cogent IBS employees and integration partners for helping us grow. The idea is to connect and leverage employees, employees professional network, Cogent IBS contract staff, Cogent IBS integration partners and clients in order to grow our people and the company. o The program has two main elements. Reward points are included for participating at many levels within each program element: Client and consultant best practice sharing Lead Sharing

o Program Start Date: January 1, 2014

o Program End Date: December 31, 2014

The fine print

1. The Cogent Connection depends on your participation for success. The management team appreciates your cooperation. 2. Please make every effort to complete the initial profile. Cogent management reserves the right to reject or request additional information for any submission that is deemed incomplete. 3. Contact a management team member if you have an idea for a white paper or client case study. Award points are available for these efforts and will be based on the impact of this work. 4. Forum Participation (Webinar, ASUG, networking events, etc.) is encouraged and rewarded. Conduct a webinar for internal education, attend a regional ASUG meeting, present your white paper, help a colleague with a tough technical problem. Points are awarded according to the business impact. Certifications achieved are worth 100 points just submit a copy of your certification. 5. Demonstrated exemplary performance refers to project work above and beyond client expectations including mentoring activities for fellow employees. Nominate your fellow employee or submit an email from your client to qualify for points. 6. SAP Mobility lead is information that identifies a potential client that is considering the implementation of any smartphone and/or tablet application in conjunction with SAP applications. 7. Decision-Maker Introduction is where you can personally introduce one of the Cogent management team to a decision-maker in an account. This includes a conference call, video conference or face-to-face meeting. 8. Lead for an HCM, SCM or HANA project bid at a client site is the submission of a lead where a potential or existing client is considering either in the short-term or at some time in the future, the implementation of SAP HCM, SCM or HANA products. 9. Project contract signed** means that, in addition to the points awarded for a lead, you will be awarded additional points if the lead results in a signed contract. 10. Ingentis or Mobile Directory (mD) Product Lead is the submission of a lead where a potential or existing client is considering a corporate directory as a mobile app. 11. Resource Referral (Hired or Not Hired) refers to a lead for a potential new Cogent IBS employee. We are interested in attracting (and retaining) top talent! Let us know if someone you know may be interested in joining the team. 12. Resource Referral (Time Sensitive/C2C) refers to responding to a request for a consultant needed for a particular project and the request is time sensitive. This means you will need to respond by a particular date. C2C refers to Corporation-to-Corporation where the consultant will remain the employee of another company than Cogent. 13. Resource Referral (Time Sensitive/W2) refers to responding to a request for a consultant needed for a particular project and the request is time sensitive. This means you will need to respond by a particular date. W2 means the consultant will become a Cogent IBS employee. 14. Resource Referral (Regular/W2) refers to providing a referral for a consultant that joins Cogent IBS as an employee. 15. Resource Referral (Regular/C2C) refers to providing a referral for a consultant that joins Cogent IBS as an contractor. 16. Product sale means your lead resulted in a signed contract and license revenue for Cogent IBS. Points will be based on the revenue impact. 17. Management reserves the right to modify program details without prior notice.
