FRATER fluorescent Battens that conforms to EN 60598 & IEC 598 are suitable for T5 & T8/T12 fluorescent lamps in single double & triple tube versions. They can be operated by both Electronic & Electromagnetic ballast that can be used in both suspended or Surface mounted application. Application: Suitable for general lighting applications in indoor areas like offices, schools, hospitals and commercial areas like shops. Material & Finish: Batten Frame: Roll formed PPGI Steel with RAL 9016 coating on external surface & with RAL 7038 on internal surface. Ballast: Energy efficient electromagnetic ballast, with Low energy loss, noiseless operation, low operating temperatures & minimum temperature rise for T8 / T12 version End Caps: Made of Poly Amide 66 (PA 66) plastic of V0 grade. Allows easy assembly of the Lamp holders. Lamp holders: With G5 / G13 base & body made of Flameretardant poly carbonate plastic with phosphor bronze contact. Starter holders: Made of Flame-retardant poly carbonate plastic with phosphor bronze contact. Internal Wiring: With PVC insulated, heat resistant (1050C) single strand Copper wire.
