ITT784 Internetwork Technologies Masters 3 3 1 Core None Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to: explain the architecture, components, operation and principles of routing protocols;(C3,P3,A3) evaluate different types of routing protocols; ;(C6,P3,A3) critically analyze the functionality of different types routing protocols using OPNET ;(C5,P4,A4) apply different types of IP addressing scheme in a large network; and;(C3,P3,A3) discuss appropriate recommendations and conclusion for the implementation of routing protocols. ;(C6,P5,A4) This course teaches advanced skills required to implement and support enterprise-class IP routing networks. The scalable networks covering infrastructure technologies, addressing scheme, multicast routing, and routing protocol authentication with other routing protocol updates. It will also leverage the latest IOS software. This course includes a more in-depth look at EIGRP and Single Area OSPF, along with Multi-Area OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, route summarization, route authentication, redistribution between routing protocols, multicast routing, discard routes and loop avoidance. Structure and lookup process of the IP routing table is also discussed to provide efficient and reliable services.
