I know this book will impact you, as much as other books have affected me.
Make sure you re-read this once a week. Repetition is the key to retention. In
fact, its necessary to read any book more than once! When you read
something 7 times, your retention spikes to over 60%!! If you want to change,
you need to remember what youre learning!

Reading is like walking in another persons shoes. There is a certain type of
information that is only assimilated through reading. It allows you to learn
from another persons experiences, without having to go through it yourself.

If you dont read books regularly, like millionaires do, this will be a start for
you... I know when youre starting anything new, its scary (It was scary for me
too), but fear comes from the unknown, meaning lack of experience or lack of
knowledge. You must realize we all have a beginning; our first in everything
and it is scary for Everyone!! For you to grow, you must begin too!

Think about where you are in your life right now, how close to your dreams
are you? Do you need a periscope to see the horizon? Put strategies in
motion now, and learn how to leverage other people by helping them. Right
now when you close your eyes, you arent in the world you want, yet. I am
going to show you just how to create that world by using a network!

Make sure that you surround yourself with people successfully operating at a
higher level then you. You will find these types of individuals at your local
REIA; so go to one this week! You should go to multiple REIAs, the more people
you are around the more opportunities you will come across. Our network
Coast to Coast REIA is a national Real Estate Investment Association founded
in order to pick up where the other trainings left off.

With a network of people surrounding you, you will be able to prevent many
mistakes. That doesnt mean I expect you to always win, or to succeed at
every challenge. You have to accept that you wont always make the correct
decision. Dont let this stop you from starting, like it does many people,
because this is necessary for you to grow. Get off your assets and like Nike
says, Just do it!

Sometimes, when you dont get the desired result, you end up with
something even better. For example: the Post-It note was a mistake, the

Slinky was repurposed. There are countless success stories from making
mistakes, and you are the next one. But if you never try anything you wont
ever find your Post-It Note.

If everything you needed to achieve your goals were all in your comfort
zone... You'd already have it! You dont, so that means you need to get
launched out of your comfort zone, and into a Millionaires comfort zone.
Where nothing is comfortable and everything is Possible!

Most people accept what
they should be doing, instead
of taking the time to figure
out what they want to be
doing. Joseph Campbell, a
modern philosopher who
studied Greek mythology,
said, Find your bliss If you
follow your bliss, you put
yourself on a kind of track
that has been there all the
while, waiting for you and you begin to live the life you ought to be living.

Since we're talking about getting out of our comfort zone, let's talk about
the transformation of a dream. In order to transform the dreams you have and
making them a reality, yes I'm afraid it's true; it's going to require hard work
and passion. If youre looking for a You are here sign, youve found it. This
is step one. When you first sit down to find your Passion, you must set aside
obstacles, such as Time, Money and Obligation.

To start to change the direction of your life, you need to look inside yourself
and ask, What is it you really want? The answer to this question is going to
give you the solution to what it will take to force your dreams into reality.
Make sure the people who you are asking for advice are going to give you good
input. So this step is all about digging deep and finding that Passion you have.

Create two lists, one that is
what you love to do, and the
other what abilities you have.
These lists will start to overlap,
or create connections. You
have it! You just need to break
apart what your biggest dreams
are and pick one. You have to
find and focus your Passion. It
is what will inspire you to do
things you never imagined
possible. Passion will put in the long hours and be excited to do it. You are
building your dream, not someone elses. So ask yourself why are you doing
it?

Passion is the Ignition switch. If you could do anything in the world right
now, and money was no object, what would it be? (Sitting around doing nothing
isnt an option). If youre not Passionate about the process, be Passionate
about the reason; your family, yourself, and your insatiable need to grow.

This MUST be powerful! Think of a Mack Truck driving like a bat out of
Hell; what would happen if you jumped out and tried to stop it? Trying to stop
that truck should be easier than trying to stop you from moving towards your
destiny. It will carry you through the times you want to give up, the times you
think it isn't fair, the times you feel nothing else can go wrong but it does.

What would make you get
back up in that situation?
People with children get it. Did
you ever hear someone say,
"Once I had kids I had to get
my act together" or "As soon
as I saw his/her face, I had my
why? Now they may not have
been talking about what I am
in their minds, but that's
exactly what I mean. They
started to believe in something bigger than themselves. Their children became
their why, whats yours, and money isn't the answer!

As these people grew in maturity, and once their priorities changed, their
circumstances changed, so must you change and grow. Growth only comes
from change, and change only comes from new goals. You have to take a
serious look at what you want to do. What is your goal, and not just, I want to
make a lot of money. Money isn't a goal, and that statement is just a wish!

A lot of money to someone in a third
world country is $100. Is that YOUR
version of a lot of money? What is your
goal? You don't daydream of sitting
around in money do you? You may
daydream of sitting on a boat with your
friends. It could be going on a vacation,
and paying for everyone to go or
something more specific to you.

Ask yourself what you really want, and then what do you need to change to
acquire it. When you find your passions and created goals, write them down
and look at them every morning so they are always on your mind, helping you
make decisions. Passion is the driving force that start's everything, and Goals
are what you aim at. Your goals are what will create your wealth.

Now that you have the driving force and the passion, let's get into the next
step to force success into reality. You have to believe you can do something.
If you don't think you can do it, how can you expect anyone else too?

You have to change some of
your Beliefs, like "Facebook isn't
for business", "Social Media isn't
for me", "I'm not smart enough",
and Im not _________ enough".
If you want to disempower
yourself with your Belief system go
ahead but don't plan on
achieving anything anytime soon.

Thats not you, you are different, you are already Empowering yourself right
now. By engaging in this book, you are moving towards your goals right now.
Even if only one person were cheering for every Win you are about to have, it
would be deafening!

One of the most incredible things about your brain is that you can program
it. By simply believing in something strong enough, you can achieve the
impossible! Its all about perception, not reality. When people see something
done, thats when they believe its possible. Just like breaking the 4 min mile.

People think, Only the best can do impossible things. They use
extraordinary people as a goal, not a guide. The only way for you to be extra
ordinary is for you to use others success like a springboard! Why do some
world records hold for so long, then once broken, the floodgates open and
everyone surpasses it? What you perceive should be your ultimate concern.
For example, if my intention is to make you feel better, but instead make you
angry. Does the intent matter or just the perception of what I did?

Heres the Key, if we know
it's all about perception then
we just have to form beliefs
that bend reality around your
situation. Live Life- like you
want it to be! Successful
people have a pattern of
believing in themselves even
when no one else does.
There will be times, for your
Beliefs to work effectively you
will have to change what your focus is on!

Think for a minute, have you ever bought a lottery ticket? When you do,
what do you focus on? The odds are 1 in 1.5 million. This is the one time in
your life you focus on the ONE! Start focusing on the ONE in your daily life,
not the 1.5 million.

A.N.T: Automatic Negative Thought. Many times when we start a new Idea,
we will have Knee-jerk reactions, which is an immediate unthinking emotional
reaction. Many of our family and friends will have the same reaction. STOP
IT!

This reaction is either from a past experience, fear of the unknown or a New
Challenge you get to conquer. You will have 100s every day. When you
change your focus to positivity and show yourself why this will be great, your
beliefs will be effective.

Think for a minute about all the things that you have accomplished in your
past. Knowing what you know now, could you have done better, faster, and
more efficient? When you think back on that event, what would have motivated
you to act faster?

The main reason you fail to act is you are afraid to fail. If you never miss,
you arent stretching yourself enough to see what is possible. Sometimes, the
only way you can tell where the edge is located, is when you go too far.

Decide right now, from this point forward, you cant fail anymore. From
now on, all you have are results and outcomes, not successes or failures.
Everyone knows Thomas Edison tried over 10,000 times to create a light bulb.
When asked how he felt about having failed 10,000 he replied, I never failed.
I successfully found 10,000 ways not to make a light bulb.

In fact one of the ways he did it
made a small explosion, which he
said would probably be helpful for
the military, he was right. The
Slinky, The Post it I can keep
going with products that were
created or found while attempting
to do something else.

So remember, if you cant fail,
all you can do is take steps to get closer to success. In order to get more out
of your future, your vision and perception must make you uncomfortable at
first. If everything you wanted was in your Comfort Zone You would have it
already!

So to round out our foundation for success we need one more foothold. At
the core of Forcing Your Reality there are three basic foundation principles:
1. Passion
2. Belief
3. Values

From these blocks everything else can be leveraged, or built on, like a
house. These are the corners of your foundation; after these three, everything
else is more external and can be more easily manipulated, as long as these
three principles are locked in.

You have two inputs for how you
take in information, internal and
external. Your building blocks will
focus on your internal inputs. After
these three it will be primarily external
and you have less control over those.
External inputs have variables you cant
control. For example, time, weather,
other people, chance, etc. Focus more
energy on the internal inputs first, since you have more control over them. So,
lets get into our final foundational building block Values.

Action Steps
! I have to believe in myself before anyone else CAN!

Values- what you hold important. So you've sat down and found something
you are passionate about, you've ensured that you believe you can do it. OK,
lets look at your Values, these will keep changing as you grow; I know people
who want to:
Spend all day with their family / Have quality alone time for growth
Relax on the beach in the sand / Build something successful that will last
Millions of dollars in the bank / Give to charities

Now these are all great values, but you can see they contradict each other.
For instance, you can't have alone time while spending the day with your family.
We all have these conflicting values, we want to see our family but we also have
to make money to feed and house our family. Because of this we end up in a
situation where we start prioritizing our values, "Ok make money to survive
first, second spend time with family, third

Lets say you want to help people
impacted by hurricane Sandy in New
Jersey. If I keep bringing you deals
located in California or Indianapolis, no
matter how good the deal is you are
going to fight it, because its not
helping the people affected by
hurricane Sandy. So then it really
comes down to, if you aren't as
successful as you would like, you haven't made it clear about what is most
important to you. Do you really want to just help people in New Jersey or can
you make money on a great deal anywhere? In other words, you haven't shifted
from your current Value Priority System to one that is line with your direction.

You must have Values that will change your focus to inspire your new Goals,
Life and Outcome! You may have a Value of always eating dinner with your
family at six p.m., great value, but that will prevent you from a lot of
opportunities at REIAs! So you may have to change it to allow new
opportunities; so in the future you can have breakfast, lunch AND dinner with
your family every day.

Once everything is moving in the same direction, youll want to get it
dancing in harmony. You have the right attitude to see the positive in
situations, even when it's hard. You are teachable and have the willingness to
change. It takes being able and willing to take criticism, act upon it and see it
as essential to get better. Only then, you are working in harmony.

If you are trying to go forward and your arms are moving you in that
direction, you are looking in that direction and you are thinking to move in that
direction but your legs are moon walking... it doesn't matter how much all the
rest of you wants to go forward, your legs aren't onboard so you're going
nowhere.

It's the same with success. If
your passion, belief, strategy are
all there but your values aren't in
line, you're not going anywhere.
Don't keep fighting your
direction, get in line with
yourself. Sit down and really
look at your value system.
Figure out what you're willing to
do and give of value, for what you
want. Sometimes the hardest things to change are the things weve done all
our lives.

We have years of bad habits, disempowering thoughts and a wide variety of
My Dad always told me to overcome. You want to create the least amount of
friction between you and success; the straightest possible line and the
smoothest possible surface. What you dont want is to be trying to find your
way around a crazy maze, with rocks, boulders, and trees inhibiting your sight,
your time, your work, and ease of access, making life tremendously difficult! It
doesnt need to be that way.

You want new ideas to take hold of your emotions, like superglue on your
fingers. Its important that your Ideas, Feelings and Energy are working in
Harmony towards one goal. Make sure that your ideas, and the people youre
around, are feeding into your values by creating a harmony between what you
want and what you need to achieve.

Now, once you are working in harmony, you want to make sure you are
getting everything you can out of your efforts. A few years ago I weighed
260lbs and I needed to work out. I knew the best time of the day to work out
to get the most out of fat loss is right when you wake up. I started going to
the gym first thing in the morning, but here comes the problem. See I had the
Passion; I had hit my bottom when I saw our family pictures. I didnt want to
look like that anymore. I had the belief and strategy because I used to be a
fitness trainer at a gym.

The problem was, I would get up and leave before my girls would wake up
and I would miss them crawling into bed with me in the morning. That was my
favorite part of the day and I valued that! I still do!! See values arent what
you always think they are. Values are: anything you hold important or of value.
I had to change my values but wanted to do it in a way where I had the most
benefit.

I had to ask myself questions
about what was most important
and put it in a priority list. Then I
could ask another question, how
could I accomplish all of this in the
most efficient and fun process? I
realized it was more beneficial for
me to get up a little earlier and
lose sleep, more than lose my time
with the girls. I didnt abandon
the goal; I only changed my approach to successfully achieve it.

I still get up and go work out first thing in the morning; I just make sure I
am back before they get out of our bed in the morning, and I love it! You just
have to ask yourself the right questions to get your peak performance.
Remember you will do anything ten times better if you enjoy what you are
doing. Find a way to enjoy the process by asking the right questions. I'm not
saying completely change your value system, unless you aren't where you want
to be in life. If so, then you might want to look at changing things in your life.
Many people, I have found, struggle with communication so let's talk about
that.

As you already know, we all have a different Value system. The number one
problem with personal and even business relationships is communication.
Most problems with these relationships, for that matter, develop when someone
elses values do not line up with yours. What are you going to do?
Communicate!

Take time as an example. Your idea of fast might be one day, where
someone else might think of fast as being one week. Put a New York
Marketing Rep in a situation with a tractor mechanic from Tennessee. They
most likely will have some differing value systems on time.

Whats the difference between
success and a different result?
Communication! It is vital that the
individual who wants to influence
the other communicates effectively.
It is also important to create
strategies ahead of time, to work
through any challenges that might
develop.

Successful people look ahead for potential challenges and put strategies in
place to overcome them should an obstacle present itself. As more things line
up synergistically, the more success and results will slam into your life like a
freight train. The right strategies facilitate your Success!

A strategy is nothing more than a solution to a problem. If you dont plan
where you want to go, you end up where you dont want to be. The more
creative the solution, the more circumstances it will work in. Using Creativity
when problem solving, always produces a bigger and better tool. You can have
all the belief you want but if you don't have the right strategy, youre as good
as a coal with no fire.

You only need one strategy to work. The problem is you never know which
strategy is going to work in a given situation. The more strategies you have
knowledge of and access to the greater your chances for Gold. Tony Robbins
says, "If you want to see a sunset, you can have the belief that you want to see
the sunset, you can have the passion that you want to see the sunset; but if you
keep running east looking for a sunset, youre going to have a problem."

If the strategy you want to use
wont work in your market, then
change strategies or change

have two options... Move to a

A friend of mine, Addiel, wanted to use bandit signs to attract buyers. His
goal was to get buyers and his belief was that a commercially made Bandit sign
would be the most effective way to reach people. He soon found out that
cheap hand written Bandit signs were MORE effective than a professionally
made sign. He changed his strategy.

You dont want to hold your beliefs
so strong that they cripple your ability
to be flexible. When you golf, the hole

Someone with great opportunities, who is always very excited, is not going

if your ideas are too early or too late you miss the opportunity. In baseball if

bat cracking against the ball that goes 400 ft. is the same; the difference is its
trajectory. It is all about the timing.

John Maxwell, who is a world
famous master on the art of
leadership says, If you have a bad
idea at the right time, its a mistake,

have success. Businesses that
succeed dont just have a six-month
and one year plan. They have five,
ten, and fifty year plans with contingencies. They not only care about their

What are you going to do, what are your goals? You have to know this
information to be able to relay it to others. Practice a 1-2 min company
description. You have to be ready at any moment to tell people what you do in
a quick, smooth, intelligent way; like an elevator speech.

An elevator speech is a quick monolog that you give about yourself if ever
someone asked what you do. This speech should be long enough to say
during an elevator encounter. This mini ad should only be 40 words or less.
By the end when the doors open, they should know what and who you are. Be
prepared to ask something that will make them ask a follow up question, and
not, Can you stop talking.

For most of you it will be an investment in your time, credit and or money in
order to get the knowledge and network. Even though the network is free, its
the one thing people take most for granted. A network is where you are going
to make your connections. A network is like one of those old operator
switchboards; it has a ton of connections, which in turn, need to be used to see
if they work. Unfortunately, unless you work at a switchboard, you dont know
what goes to what.

You have to figure out
where each connection goes.
To find that out, you have to
plug in each connection to see
where it goes! You have to
learn with time and
experience. The same goes
for life. When building your
connections, there are some
rules to building better
relationships. One main rule
is you are going to have to bring value to the table.

In real estate, this means money, credit, people you know, or time. For

Teach it! The more you share your
knowledge, the more you will

When youre new, who is going to listen to you and try to learn from you,
something you just learned and applied? Your children! If you dont have
children, find someone elses. Children love to learn if you make it fun.

Another factor is the creativity you implement to teach your information.
Make it different and extra ordinary; doing this will make it easier to
understand and your students will have a higher retention level. When
teaching children you need to use different strategies that will maintain their
attention.

The best part of teaching is its the best way for you to melt the knowledge
you just learned into your own brain. When you teach knowledge about a
subject, you get better at speaking about it- the language becomes more
familiar.

Teaching your children is a way of giving back and ensuring they are well
taken care of. I am so focused on my youngest children because they are all

I found a way to give back doing what I love to do. I have taught people for
over 5 years how to invest in Real Estate, network and improve their lives.
Another thing I developed with my partner Ivan Oberon, for this exact reason
was, Coast to Coast REIA. It allowed both our network and us, to mentor and
give back, which we already do on a daily basis anyway. If we could instill the
same value of giving back to all the people we work with, our network would
grow exponentially. When you give, most people would suggest that it's a
taking away action. This myth is by far the opposite of how it works in your
life. By giving, you receive. By looking towards others' needs, you are moving
forward to your own significance. Just because youre giving back doesnt
mean you arent Moving Forward.

When youre looking at these changes it may seem scary, this is only
because you are not sure what will happen. Some of the changes will take
major mental fortitude. You will think its better to put it off because of the
immediate pain. This pain will come in the form of time away from your
family, time-consuming work, and helping others, when you feel YOU need the
help.

Eric Thomas says, Pain is
temporary, it may last a day, a
week, a month, or even a year; but
eventually it will subside and
something else will take its place.
If you do nothing the pain will last
forever. This is one of the
biggest keys for me. This
statement showed me, no matter
what, the pain was going to be
there. But that didnt mean I had to feel the pain!

There is also a video series called, Change Your Focus Using Questions by
Tony Robbins, who is a worldwide change specialist. Now what I did was
combine them both. So if you know the pain is going to happen no matter
what, then why not change the way you associate to pain. I created the
following strategy for me. I said, I am now looking forward to the challenges,
because I know the pain is temporary, and success is right on the other side!
So why am I waiting for the good?? Why not get this done, so I can be where I
want sooner. I changed what I focused on. Instead of, the pain was going
to begin sooner, if I changed now; I focused on, the reward was going to
happen sooner, if I start now! So, Change your brain to embrace the change!

You need to understand how the brain interprets pain and pleasure. Only
then can you use it to inspire, drive and motivate yourself to reach your goals.
Communication with your brain is one of the most important things to

This world is all about communication and influence. As we get older we
stop thinking like a child. As a child, when we want something, we arent
afraid to ask. When someone was new to the playground, we didnt care where
he came from or what he was wearing. We just made a connection and started
playing. When we needed help, we asked and when we could help, we did. As
we got older we eventually stopped using this method of communication.

The John Wayne concept in business doesnt work. You arent a lone wolf!
You have multiple mentors and people that care about your success. Ask them
for help to build a plan on how to create a new you! Tell yourself what you
expect! Create a new level of who you are and give yourself a wonderful
reputation to live up to!
