Demo-Return Demo of the 5asic ,ye ,&am !' hours#. 8tudents will %e separated into smaller groups where they will %e as"ed to perform the 5asic ,ye ,&am on themselves or actual patients. /onsultants shall supervise and provide them feed%ac" on the process of 5asic ,ye ,&amination. '. Rotations in the Am%ulatory /linics.!12 hours# $here will %e a total of * sessions for this activity. ,ach %loc" will %e divided into smaller groups consisting of five ! # students each. $he same grouping shall %e maintained for all sessions. ,ach small group will %e given two patients each to e&amine and evaluate under consultant supervision. $hey shall %e e&pected to formulate a wor"ing diagnosis and a management plan for each patient. All students shall %e rated %ased on their method of e&amination of the patient and participation in the discussion. !.lease refer to evaluation tool.# 8tudents shall receive an evaluation for each session. 8tudents shall "eep a log of the cases that they see during the rotation. *. 8mall 4roup Discussion !' hours0session# 8tudents will %e divided into two small groups consisting of 10 students per group for each 8mall 4roup Discussion session. o 7or 84D 1+ paper cases will %e provided for discussion !2-' cases are to %e discussed for the session#. All students shall %e as"ed to participate in the discussion of the case. o 7or 84D 2+ the cases for discussion shall %e introduced to the groups %y the faculty mem%er on the day of the 84D. Discussions shall %e facilitated %y a faculty mem%er. All students in the group shall %e e&pected to participate in the discussion. $he outline for the discussion shall include the following> !1# .ertinent history and ., findings !positive and negatives#. !2# Differential Diagnosis and their %asis %ased on the information provided
