HISTORY OF THE COMPANY

W+K Industrie Technik was founded in 1997. W+K has taken over the activities of pipe mill technology and customer service from ThyssenKrupp, formerly Hoesch Maschinenfabrik Deutschland AG. After 10 years of successful worldwide activities in the welded pipe mill technology, at the end of 2007 the Italian plant engineering and construction company DANIELI & C. Ofcine Meccaniche S.p.A has taken over W+K Industrie Technik. DANIELI W+K was born.

The break-down and sizing stands of the new DANIELI W+K design are characterized by compact and stable execution. This guarantees an efcient production of rst class pipes on a high quality level for many years. The DANIELI W+K Multicutter ensures cuts with minimum burr at high production speeds. Depending upon the pipe dimension, the special design of the saw heads allows the use of either one, two or four saw blades. Thanks to employed carbide-tipped saw blades which are optimally matched to the low-backlash gearbox it is possible to cut-off pipes with high wall thicknesses and extremely strong material properties as well as large diameter pipes with low wall thicknesses ensuring a low-burr cut. The Multicutter is applicable for pipe welding lines up to max. 26 (660 mm) Thanks to the special saw head designs wide diameter ranges can be covered, e.g. our 2-saw blade head for pipe OD 60-220 mm.
