FPS Dungeon Walkthrough Using Blender and Unity !!

Fire up Blender !
(Portable version available from http://portableapps.com/apps/graphics_pictures/ blender_portable )

Select the d hit the dele

Create a 2D plane

Keep the S key held down and drag out the plane a bit bigger then the 16 square grid

Use the TAB key to find this menu and select Subdivide

Cut it 9 times to make a 10 x 10 grid

Press numpad 7 to put into gods eye view

Select face select (so you can select the faces)

Dotiness ensues

HOLD DOWN the SHIFT KEY and with the RIGHT HAND MOUSE select the ROOMS and CORRIDORS

Keep the scroll wheel pressed down and move the mouse to alter your view

Hold down E and move the mouse down to EXTRUDE

You can change the view here

If you have Blender installed on your machine you can save your file as a .blend and import it straight into Unity. If you are using a portable version of Blender you need to export it as a .fbx

Create a new Unity project

Place the Blender file in the Models folder or Import it

You can export it directly to the folder from Blender or drag it in there or just go through the Import menu in Unity

Drag it into the game area and rescale it

(as normal) you can then create a new material and colour it

Add the first person controller (and delete the main camera)
