2. Reading Comprehension. Goodbye Myanmar, Hello Singapore The curtain of the 27th SEA Games, in Nay Pyi Taw, fell on Sunday night with a lavish Closing Ceremony. This marked the end of 11 official days of the regions most important sporting event. After 44 years out of the limelight, Myanmar earned praise as the host of 27th SEA Games. The event marked the countrys return to the International stage after decades of isolation. The 27th SEA Games, featuring 33 sports with 460 gold, 460 silver and 637 bronze medals, ran from Dec.11 to Dec.22 in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay and Nge Saung Beach, with the theme Green, Clean and Friendship.
