PUYALLUP, WASH.
Cows eat only the best grass.
When those cows live in Humboldt County, California, they get to
spend their days, season after season, grazing on lush pastures.
What does this mean for you? Simply delicious milk with naturally
occurring Omega-3 and CLA thats
non-homogenized to be the closest
to the way Mother Nature intended.
It truly is the cream,
on the top, of the crop!

4 MOTHER EARTH NEWS FAIR
Dear Friends,
As we began planning this years MOTHER EARTH NEWS FAIR at the Western
Washington Fairgrounds, we refected on the fun we have sharing time with
like-minded people. In years past we mostly shared our stories through printed
copies of our magazines. Today we communicate with you every day in the
digital media and we get together in person at a MOTHER EARTH NEWS FAIR.
Your enthusiasm makes our work worthwhile!
Weve packed the FAIR schedule full of what we feel are some of the greatest
personalities, ideas, concepts and projects for solving the basic puzzles of

sustainability and self-reliance. Our collaborators are some of the brightest minds in their felds
and they have helped millions of people live more prosperous and enjoyable lives.
I would like to extend my personal thanks to the many supportive organizations that have invested
their time and energy to be here this weekend. Our major partners this year include Bobs Red
Mill, Bon Ami, Botanical Interests, Earthineer, Manna Pro, Organic Valley, Peaceful Valley,
Sancor and T-Mobile.
We are also grateful to the extraordinary folks who have agreed to speak at the event this year,
including headliners Joel Salatin, Ed Begley Jr., Paul Stamets, Will Allen and Linda Gilkeson.
All of them do outstanding work. We are honored by their friendship.
Enjoy your weekend and please stop me when you see me and say hi!
Sincerely,
Bryan Welch
