New Year, New You! Or so the phrase goes. So, we all know how New Years Resolutions go. Most start strong and end up failing, others will achieve there goals. I was thinking of writing on this regular old topic: ways to lose weight, then I found some interesting things on Ways to Live Longer and it had some areas you might not have thought about before. The basic ones weve all heard Im sure: Quit Smoking, Lose Weight, Keep Moving. Here are some maybe new ones for you with a little of my own 2 cents added in: Be Conscientious (be wise in your decisions), Make Friends and Choose those friends wisely! Also, wear safety gear (if these friends do get you into some crazy activities). Embrace the Siesta (take a quick nap, its good for you) and Make Sleep a Priority (get enough at night too). Follow a Mediterranean Diet (lots of fruit, veggies, whole grains, olive oil and fish), and Drink Alcohol in Moderation (along with drinking enough water). Get Married (guess I need to work on that ;). Manage stress (yoga, meditation, ECT.) Forgive! Get Spiritual (having God in your life can change you).
