STORY SO FAR: The Higher United Nations Defense Enforcement Reserves, known simply as T.H.U.N.D.E.R., is a global organization committed to defending the world from tyranny and disaster. Assembling not only the world's finest soldiers, doctors, scientists, and other specialists, but the strange super-powered beings in our midst, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. forms a fighting force the likes of which the world has never seen.
Recently, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. uncovered a series of impossibly ancient, mysterious towers all over the earth. Each seems to contain a cosmic entity bent on punishing civilizations that go awry. THUNDER is now engaged in a race of sorts to locate and secure these powerful artifacts before the newly-discovered Subterraneans or any other nefarious organization can take custody...
