The democratic party is strong because of our ability to be inclusive. During my career as an attorney, have worked with and along side many members of the !"#T community as well as served as counsel for many clients that are a part of the !"#T community. The !"#T community is simply a sub$section of the larger community in which serve and want to continue to serve. %. What are your plans to participate in a coordinated campaign in the general election? f am successful in the primary, will not have an opponent in the general election, however, believe it is my responsibility to participate in a coordinated effort to get every single democrat elected and pledge my support, time and effort to do so in the coordinated campaign. &. ,. When elected, how will you recruit, retain, and create a friendly environment for !"#T and !"#T$friendly staff? The mission statement for the &&-th .udcial District is /that all staff will act in concert to aide families in a spirit of compassion and service while processing each case in the most e0peditious manner to restore a sense of normalcy to the lives of the parents, children and litigants1

believe this mission statement is all inclusive. t e0tends to each and every lawyer practicing in the 2ourt, each and every litigant that has a case in the court, as well as any and all witnesses who appear on behalf of those litigants. 3. Would you be willing to appoint a liaison to meet with the !"#T community on a ongoing basis? f not, why? The &&-th has an open door policy, meaning, that the 2ourt stands ready and willing to address issues that are germane to running an efficient and productive 2ourt docket. 4. 5nderstanding that administrative matters can take up a significant percentage of your work day, what are some ideas for policies or procedures that you think you can improve court operations for the court which you are seeking office? What are the most important policies or procedures you6ve identified as needing improvement? When was elected in %-1-, we made some systematic changes to how we ran the docket. The 2ourt handles all pre$trials and assigns trial dates to ensure that when a case is docketed for trial, the attorneys and litigants can rely on that trial setting. 7ttorneys know that they can receive a final trial setting within 8- days of a pre$trial and that there will be a final disposition in that matter at the time of the setting. We not only conduct prove$ups during the morning hours, also schedule noon prove$ups on Thursday for attorneys whose clients are unable to attend a morning docket. We also have summer hours that begin as early 9'-- a.m. for those who would like to have an early morning hearing and have some time in the afternoons to pick up children early or run errands. We have tried to put systems in place that are both helpful to the attorneys and litigants, but also continue to move the docket e0peditiously.
