No pass needed
From now on in the Library. You no longer need a Library pass to get in. On a morning in your tutor you just need to get your planner signed. This will reduce the amount of waste paper in the school. Usually after you have handed your pass in they are just binned and never seen again but now the school can be more ecofriendly.
Cross country
When a group of kids find themselves stranded on an island they will have to work as a team and try to survive.
Damp, foul, dark, miserable, breezy, muddy are just some of the words to describe the weather for cross country. After an early lunch and getting changed many of the runners made a remark on the weathers coldness. It was freezing. The people who were running last had to wait in the cold for the longest. In the year 7 girls race Sarah Moitt won. She quotes: I am very proud of myself and I never thought I would be able to do it because I didn't think I was that good. I was coming second for the first half of the race then I came first for the second half of it!! I didn't enjoy the race much but I like running. In conclusion apart from the weather I would say that the race was a pretty good.

PAPERMAIL
Well it was a break time last week Mrs. Surtees was stood with me near the front of the Library when Mrs Armstrong entered. She talked to Mrs Surtees for a bit then she looked at me and told me that Miss Wilson had been telling her that I had been making mini magazines and scripts. That was when Mrs Surtees told me about a school newspaper she started to make but never got it finished. She then asked me if I would like to make one. It then carried on from there. I was told I could work at a certain computer every time I added some more in to it and that I could come to the library anytime (with in reason).

Also on your left is a section called Your bit but if you are a keen writer and want to write more you can have this space. Doesn't matter if you have typed it up on the computer or if you have written it with hand. More importantly if you have any ideas on how to improve the magazine, e.g. how it is set out, what features there are Please dont hesitate to ask me or post your message in the box. -Liam Pape-

This December Darlington has gone Christmas crazy. On the 12th and 13th December the town centre will be hosting a wide variety of Christmas entertainment, which will include ice sculpting and much more. Also there is a big wheel near the Joseph Pease statue. It is two pound for children and two pound fifty for adults. My experience was very exciting but fun, so it is well worth trying out.
