AGRI COMMODITY DAILY WRAP UP..!!!!

JEERA FUTURE Jeera futures are seen weak due to higher sowing and lack of strong demand. Sufficient carryover stocks along with higher production estimates also pressured the market sentiments. Sowing of eera in !u arat raised to ""#$%% hectares so far from $&$&%% hectares same period a year ago' as per data from the state(s agriculture department. Area under eera in Ra asthan is )*+%%% hectares thus far. The e,port demand is e,pected to rise in coming months -ecause of crop failure in Syria and Turkey. As per the recent report from ./0' cold wave conditions were prevailing over some parts of !u arat. /E1T2A3.4FUTURE The arrivals reaching the physical mandis are hovering around )%% to )#% drums compared to the previous $%% to $#% drums. 0espite the ongoing winter season coupled with the restricted arrivals' we have not -een noticing any ma or gains in prices due to su-dued domestic demand. .n line with this' we are not noticing any fresh e,port cues from the Asian countries' which is further weighing on market sentiments in this 1ew 5ear' although the spot prices have slightly improved. 62A1A FUTURE 6hana futures are e,pected to trade on a mi,ed to positive note today supported -y lower level -uying coupled with weather concerns in north .ndia. 2owever' no ma or upside is seen due to weak demand' higher sowing' favora-le climatic conditions' increasing imports as well as comforta-le supplies. Sowing of 6hana has picked up across the ma or growing states7 weather conditions and planting progress thereon are the crucial factors to -e watch for here onwards.
