asked community members to donate $50.00 to install flags at their
residences, which six veterans worked to install last week. With help

Bernard Nelson Cain, age 97, of Mt. Juliet, TN died Thursday, September 3, 2009.
Mr. Cain was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard serving during WWII. He was retired
from General Motors and enjoyed farming. He was the son of the late Jesse Lee and
Caroline Ellen Wilson Cain. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Earl Cain and
sister, Helen Hamblin. He is survived by: wife – Merrianne Kunkel Cain of Mt. Juliet, TN;
sons – Russel Cain of Nashville, TN, Bruce Cain of Mt. Juliet, Gregg Cain of Branson, MO;
