3600 Hosted Key System – Voice Mail

Carrier Grade Voice Mail for Small Business
The Mitel® 3600 Hosted Key System is a multi-tenant software suite that provides
hosted VoIP telephony services for small businesses. The suite is available with an
integrated and sophisticated IP-based voice mail system that provides voice mail services
to small business users.

Web Management Message Forwarding

Small business administrators can enable voice mail
for end users with a single click on the Hosted Key
System web administration page. The voice mail
server has its own web administration for platform
and system-level management of the server.
Message Notification
The Hosted Key System Voice Mail will notify a
subscriber of a new message using a variety of
notification mechanisms such as; Message Waiting
Indicator, email, SMS or pager (SMTP required). This
helps ensure that wherever your customers may be,
they still have access to new voice mails.
While logged into the system, users can directly
forward voice mails to other subscribers on the
system. Want to forward a message to someone who
is not a subscriber on the system? No problem – the
voice mail system also supports forwarding voice
messages as email attachments.
Platform
The Hosted Key System voice mail server is Java / JSP
based, combining a voice mail and VXML media
server (in a software package). Individual messages
are stored in a message store and configurations
maintained in a LDAP server. The standard platform
for the 3600 voice mail is two Sun® SunFire X4100
computers with AMD Opteron Processor, 4 GB RAM,
73 GB disk drive, DVD R/W drive and Red Hat® Linux.
