beneficial yogas in addition to the Sakata Yoga, so Jupiter does not deny
fame or success, but it did disappoint him by preventing him from reaching
the Superbowl. Upon his retirement from football in Jupiter antardasa, he
became popular in many TV appearances due to the raja yoga and Sankha
Yoga that Jupiter is forming.
This is not a particularly bad Sakata Yoga. Jupiter is rasi aspected by
two malefics, Mars and Rahu, but Rahu is in Taurus, its exaltation, and,
therefore, not harmful. Mars is in its moolatrikona navamsa and, therefore,
actually helpful. The Moon is rasi aspected by one benefic, Venus, and one
malefic, the Sun, so the Sakata is of an average sort, which was enough to
disappoint him and bring his football career to an early end.
In 1994 OJ gained notoriety as the prime suspect in the murder of his
wife and a male friend of hers. The antardasa of the Moon acquitted him of
the murder. The Moon is no doubt taking part in the Sakata Yoga, but it is
also forming a Vipareet Raja Yoga by being the 12
th
lord in the 8
th
house.
Vipareet Raja Yogas are the best for getting out of trouble or difficulties,
and thus he was acquitted. The Sakata Yoga, however, has to have its
effects to some degree. Most believed he was guilty and he lost all public
appeal; the result of the yoga, one will become an object of aversion to the
king.

In the horoscope of Samuel Goldwyn, Jupiter is in the 6
th
from the
Moon, thereby forming Sakata Yoga.

others. In 1922, during Jupiter/Venus,
Goldwyn quarreled with his partners
and was forced out of the corporation
named after him. Jupiter takes part in
the Sakata Yoga and Venus, the
antardasa lord, rules the nakshatra and
navamsa of Mercury, the karaka for
business partners. Venus debilitation
and conjunction with Mars caused the quarrelling. Those who have read my
book Vault of the Heavens will remember that Jupiter/Venus periods are very
often periods of huge loss if the planets are at all afflicted. Jupiter is the
worst of the Sakata Yoga forming planets on account of having the rasi
aspect of debilitated Venus and malefic Mars, though Mars is not harmful,
