trine and rasi aspected by an angular lord, Mercury; therefore, Ketus aspect
to Mercury, with whom it forms a raja yoga, is not a blemish for purposes
of career success, though it does harm health and finances and incurs
expenses. Venus is rasi aspected by a benefic only, Mercury. The
Subhakartari Yoga appears decently well disposed, particularly for career
success, though it does indicate some undesirable expenses due to Ketus
affliction to Mercury in the 12
th
. Considering Subha/Asubha influences, it is
found that Mercury has 45 virupas of Subha influence and that Venus has
78 virupas of Asubha influence. The dasa of Venus, therefore, will have
somewhat more ups and downs and stress than the dasa of Mercury.
Mercury and Venus are also forming a raja yoga due to being an angular and
trine lord in rasi aspect to each other, and since they are forming a Kartari
Yoga, the raja yoga becomes more powerful, and thus Ross Perot has
managed to become a very wealthy and powerful man. This began in
Mercury dasa when he started his company EDS. In the Venus dasa he
continued to have financial success and made a run
for the presidency.
Mercury and Venus are also forming the Solar
Yoga, Ubhayachari Yoga, by being in the 12
th
and
2
nd
from the Sun. They are also forming a Lunar
Yoga, Durudhara Yoga, by being in the 12
th
and 2
nd

from the Moon, though this yoga is weak on
account of the Moon being so close to the Sun.
Since Mercury and Venus form these Solar and
Lunar Yogas they become more significant and
grant greater success.
