PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

1. Concept of Philosophy?
Philosophy is a science that deals with the study of processes governing thought and conduct. A branch of knowledge or academic study devoted to the systematic examination of basic concepts such as truth, existence, reality, causality, and freedom. Philosophy is divided into many sub-fields. These include epistemology, logic, metaphysics, ethics, and aesthetics.

2. What is your own concept about Philosophy?

-For me, Philosophy is the fundamental guiding principle of every human being that will lead them to the path of their choice. This is the awareness on the truth about human life and nature, a deep understanding about the existence of everything even a small piece of dust, the reality in every circumstances, the causality of each effect, freedom to justify what is right from wrong and lastly the enlightenment from which the human escape from immaturity and embracing the process of searching the real world in an analytical and systematic way of thinking.

3. What is Logic?
Branch of philosophy that deals with the theory of deductive and inductive arguments and aims to distinguish good from bad reasoning, sensible rational thought and argument rather than ideas that are influenced by emotion or whim. It seeks to provide human being with a sound and intelligent method of living, put side as into orderly, structured sequences that leads to accurate thinking .

4. What are the benefits in studying Philosophy?

Man may benefit from Philosophy by means of valuing everything around us. Studying philosophy will teach us also to appreciate others view, idea, beliefs and their own philosophy in life. It also provides us a sense of responsibility in everything we do and gives us opportunity to share our insights to others in a peaceful and intelligent manner. Philosophy gives us also learning the skills in life by means of solving problems, analyzing situations and understanding issues and concerns life would offers us.

5. What is your opinion about human as a rational being?

- Human is a rational being because man is the only creation of God who can think clearly and sensibly compared to the other creations. Human has the ability to analyze things, reason and justify good into bad. Human has the freedom to choose on what kind of person he will become and this is his responsibility on how the other human being will see him the way he is because of his actions.
