Nouns Nouns are names of people, animals, places and things. These names are called common nouns.

. E.g. man, cousin, nurse, village, field, classroom, hat, lorry and plate. People, animals, places and things may have special names too. These special names are called proper nouns. They start with capital letters. E.g. Mr Wong, Misha, Kuala Lumpur, January, Kilometrico, Proton Waja and Tompok. Wrong (X) Our class teacher is miss regina. My friends went to london last year.
