of Ted Bundy. Again, Hala Yoga in the Moksha trine sets the foundation
for an addictive and insane personality, which supports and brings out the
worse in other malefic yogas.
Notice that there is no Kapata Yoga in Berkowitzs horoscope; there
was no pretense or deception in his actions. He looked and acted scary. He
even went to psychologists and told them that demons were telling him to
do bad things. He was deceptive in the sense that he fabricated an entire
story about demons telling him what to do and even claimed that one of his
landlords was the host of a very powerful demon, and that the howling of
dogs were his orders to commit evil acts. Later in prison he admitted that
he claimed these things in order to appear insane in case he was ever caught
for his crimes. He was not, however, deceptive in the hypocritical sense of a
Kapata Yoga native who attempts to appear and act different than they are.

In the horoscope of dancer Marge
Champion, the Moon and Rahu are
conjunct and rasi aspected by Jupiter
who is joined with a malefic, Mars,
thereby forming Mahapaataka Yoga.
Whatever her sins may have been, they
brought no public attention or
recognition. Notice that in this case
Jupiter is exalted and intervenes
between Mars and Mercury,
maintaining Mercury as a benefic, as
compared to the previous horoscopes of David Berkowitz and Ted Bundy
where Mercury became a malefic. The Rahu/Moon conjunction is in the 3

house, an upachaya, which brings out the better aspects of Rahu, and the
Moon, though debilitated, is at least in the 3
rd
house where debilitated
