General Skills / Requirements :

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering. 15 Years minimum experience in process and/or mechanical engineering in an oil and gas industry. Previous experience with US Oil & Gas operator is preferred. Fluent English language skills, strong verbal & written communication abilities, technical writing and documentation proficiency.

Mechanical / Process Engineering: candidates should have experience and knowledge of the following

Broad-based technical knowledge of onshore gas, NGL, metering and terminal facilities required, including strong process & process systems expertise (separation-water treating-gas dehydration), structural, power generation, materials selection, chemical treating, instrumentation and control. Ability to mentor other engineers in API14C, P&Ids, and C&E diagrams. Board technical experience with troubleshooting, optimization & upgrading of facilities & infrastructure. Experience with managing facility integrity issues as well as planning and execution of emergency/critical facility/pipeline repairs including support of incident investigations. Experienced with safety processes/tools. For example MOC, Safety in Design, HAZOPs, What if investigations, root cause analysis. Strong team skills and proven ability to contribute and deliver in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary, joint venture environment. The successful candidate will serve as advisor and mentor resource to National facilities and maintenance engineers, also work with National Oil Company and US oil and gas operators production personnel, as well as contractors to troubleshoot and optimize production facilities. Functional review for MOC process on mechanical and process engineering issues. Ensure all MOCs & projects meet company & industry standards & specifications. Preparation of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), cause and effect diagrams. Modifications to existing designs, PIDs, C&E, PFDs. Detailed mechanical and/or process engineering including selection of appropriate equipment for service, specifications, datasheets, procurement packages, FAT, installation, SAT, inspection, commissioning and start up. Design, specification and troubleshooting of process and mechanical equipment including separation, TEG dehydration, compression, rotating equipment. Prepare bid evaluations for mechanical and process equipment purchase orders and contracts, assist in award recommendations. Review of construction and installation activities on projects. Supervise site supervisors and inspectors during construction. Brown field projects and modification to existing process and mechanical equipment. Serve as the point of contact for the Facility Engineering Department (FE) on process and mechanical matters with both field operations and Contractors. Troubleshooting of Turbine Generator and Compressor units. Familiar with US Engineering Standards.

Facilities Engineer Lead Job Purpose :

Facility Engineering - Project Engineer General Skills / Requirements :

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering. 15 Years minimum experience in engineering and project management in oil and gas setting. Previous experience with US oil and gas operator is preferred. Fluent English language skills, strong verbal & written communication abilities, technical writing and documentation proficiency.

Project Management: candidates should have experience and knowledge of the following

Broad-based technical knowledge of onshore gas, NGL, gas dehydration, compression. Extensive experience in Project Management and Project Control systems. Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and under budget. Project Management experience in both Brownfield and Greenfield projects from conceptual design through FEED and construction to start up and operations. Demonstrated ability to mentor and train junior national engineers in Project Management. Previous experience with US Oil and Gas Project Management Systems preferred. Strong team skills and proven ability to contribute and deliver in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary, joint venture environment. Strong estimating and scheduling, risk, and contracting capability. Experience in project controls systems including contracting, purchasing, cost control, scheduling, risk management. Demonstrates understanding of customer focus and stakeholder management. Experience in effectively managing contractors to deliver against expectations. Management of construction and installation activities on projects. Supervise site supervisors and inspectors during construction. Can take stakeholder input and clearly convert this into a well-defined scope of work and then clearly convey requirements and expectations to E&C Contractors. Ability to communicate project information in discussions, presentations & reports to all levels of the organization.
