VERIMARK SWAZILAND (2006+)

Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Duties:

 Development of strategic marketing and sales to accommodate


business goals by successfully analyzing the market to determine
customer needs and build dynamic relationships with new and
existing clients.
 Planning sales forecasts and strategies.
 Source and develop key relationships with clients to increase
sales.
 Inventory management which included stock taking, stock
control for the three branches and ordering of stock.
 Conducting product demonstrations for customers as a
promotional strategy.
 Sales and handling customer enquiries.
 Merchandising of products in store.
 Preparation of income and expenditure.

Achievements:

 Introduced the aspect of sales commissions so as to motivate the


sales force which the Director implemented in February 2007.
 Introduced laybyes so as to increase sales and the Director
approved them in November 2006.
 Designed a Proforma Invoice and Quotation form for The
Wellness Zone, a sister company to Verimark Swaziland.
 Conducted a market research to find out the perceptions that
customers have about Verimark so as to better understand and
meet their needs.
 Designed a service blue print for the Verimark Service Centre so
that it functions effectively and efficiently.

Procurement Officer

Duties:

 Procurement of goods / services on receipt of a duly approved requisition form.


 Invitation to tender through telephone, press and fax from reputable merchants /
suppliers.
 Calling for and attending tender committee meetings where necessary.
 Minuting the tender minutes and ensuring that all tender committee members
present sign the minutes.
 Preparation of the supplier analysis to verify on the cheapest bids.
 Preparation of the internal purchase form and ensuring that the necessary
approvals are sought.
 Preparation of the purchase order and placing orders with the successful bidders.
 Preparation of payment requests on receipt of stamped delivery notes and invoices
from stores office.
 Follow ups on the release of cheques for onward submission to the supplier.
