CLiC responds to 21st century literacies with a new, deeply integrated model for the study and teaching of
writing and rhetoric.
CLiC supports, engages in, and disseminates research in writing and literacy studies.
CLiC is about meaningful collaborations--across campus, in the community, and via professional
organizations.
CLiC responds to literacy as it lives in our lives and the lives of our students, which means we study and
support writing with new media (sound, video, images) as much as we do more traditional forms of writing
(print, alphabetic texts).
