The Supplier must appoint a security manager who will have the formal contact with the Principal in security-related matters. The Supplier must also at all times, while packing and sealing take place, appoint a person responsible for securing the shipment. Personnel with security responsibility should stand out as enthusiastic role models in the security work. The Suppliers personnel are subject to a duty of conf identiality in service matters, also after the service relationship ends. The duty of confidentiality must be acknowledged with a signed written declaration of confidentiality. In contracts with hired personnel, the duty of confidentiality must be included as a standard contract stipulation. Access authorisations must be updated at all times. In the event of termination/cessation of the contract, the Supplier must ensure that all authorisations, accesses and proxies cease, and that borrowed material, computer software, handbooks, work descriptions, ID cards, keys and other property/documentation is returned to the Supplier.
4. Area security
The area security must ensure that unauthorised persons do not come in contact with the Principals cargo or carrie rs without this being discovered. Areas and premises used by the Supplier for packing and sealing closed carriers, must be well arranged, well-lit and under surveillance by the Suppliers responsible persons for securing the shipment. Carriers that are temporarily or completely sealed, and which must wait for longer periods without surveillance awaiting further packing or transport, must be relocated to a controlled area.< Norwegian Oil and Gas 091 Appendix1> If it is discovered that unauthorised persons have, or could have been in contact with the Principals cargo or carriers, the Supplier must carry out a full manual inspection of the exposed cargo and carriers in consultation with the Principal. Unknown personnel must present valid identification before being granted access to a controlled area. A drivers licence, passport or national ID card are considered valid forms of identification. Personnel employed in known enterprises can identify themselves with the enterprises own picture ID card. Foreign citizens must identify themselves with a passport. Visitors must be accompanied back to the reception/waiting room at the end of the visit. Family members are considered visitors.
9. Audits
The Principal may carry out audits of the Suppliers compl iance with this agreement. The Supplier must cooperate fully with the Principal and/or its representatives during the audit. The Principal may carry out an audit of any activity or task connected to this agreement. The audit could, e.g. comprise conversations with personnel involved in tasks associated with this agreement, and audits of areas and premises used for packing and storing shipments subject to this agreement. If the Supplier has, according to agreement with the Principal, the right to enter into Norwegian Oil and Gas security agreement with own sub-suppliers; the Supplier must document planned and completed audits, and the results of completed audits vis--vis the Principal.
