FOR ALL JOURNEYS ON EMIRATES TO / FROM THE USA THE FOLLOWING BAGGAGE RULES APPLY: Econom y Class: 2 pieces permitted - Each piece of free checked-in baggage must not exceed 23kg (50lb). Maximum dimensions (length + w idth + height) of each piece must not exceed 158cm (62inches). The total combined dimensions of both pieces should not exceed 273cm (107inches). One piece of carry-on baggage is permitted w ith maximum dimensions: 55 x 38 x 20 cm (22 x 15 x 8 inches) and maximum w eight: 7kg (15lb) First Class and Business Class: 2 pieces permitted - Each piece of free checked-in baggage must not exceed 32kg (70lb). Maximum dimensions (length + w idth + height) of each piece must not exceed 158cm (62 inches). The total combined w eight of both pieces may not be more than 12kg (26lb). Tw o pieces of carry-on baggage permitted: one briefcase plus either one handbag or one garment bag. The briefcase may not exceed 45 x 35 x 20 cm (18 x 14 x 8 inches); the handbag may not exceed 55 x 38 x 20 cm (22 x 15 x 8 inches); the garment bag can be no more than 20cm (8 inches) thick w hen folded. The w eight of each piece must not exceed 7kg (15lb). Infants in all cabin classes are permitted one checked-in bag: maximum w eight 23kg (50lb) w ith total dimensions (length + w idth + height) not exceeding 115cm (45 inches) and one carry-on bag for inflight food and disposable items (w eight not to exceed 5kg / 11lb) and maximum dimensions: 55 x 38 x 20 cm (22 x 15 x 8 inches).
