Analog tapes
Digital hard drive Record /View different footage simultaneously Recording length relatively infinite based on size of hard drive No image degradation over time and limitless copying Instant event search/viewing Video files easily copied, shared, transported No tapes to change or wear out. No physical storage required Includes analog to video conversion and compression

Benefits OF NVR
Network Video Recorder (NVR) Video Management Software on a standard network server Flexible processing, storage capacity Requires video server or codec Encodes/decodes analog and digital signals Converts analog-digital and digital to analog Compresses digital signals to optimize network bandwidth Trade off are quality vs. file size
TYPE OF CAMERA
1. Digital Camera (also called Color Camera ) 2. Analog Camera (also called Monochrome)
COLOR CAMERA
Color cameras can send images in color to the monitor screen. They are relatively more expensive than monochrome cameras, but recently have come to be used in most CCTV applications. For surveillance applications in particular, it may be important to be able to recognize clothing or vehicle color. Some color cameras come with an increased sensitivity function
MONOCHROME CAMERAS
Monochrome cameras (also called B&W or black-and-white cameras) are less expensive than color cameras.
Generally they have lower minimum illumination requirements compared to color cameras and therefore can produce clearer images of dark objects.

CONCLUSIONS
Building security system will continue to advance protection of people and assets from reactive to predictive It no biased to anybody Video Management Software (VMS) capabilities will continue to improve building security system Video Surveillance system will quickly give what happened
Financial benefits of anywhere/all-the-time monitoring and recording from access control system
