Daniel Wallace is the author of five novels. His first, Big Fish, was made into a motion picture of the same name by Tim Burton in 2003, and a musical version on Broadway in 2013. He is a contributing editor to Garden & Gun magazine and is the J. May the force be you. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A fun little 'guide' to being a Jedi. Aimed at middle to high school grade readers. Built on the old canon despite being released under Disney. The little "notes and annotations" by different Jedi of the past (Yoda, Thame, Dooku, Qui-Gon, Kenobi, Anakin, Ashoka, Sidious, Luke) is interesting though often unneeded and even seem out of place / out of character at time.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5As a new Star Wars fan this book has helped me get a deeper understanding of the Jedi. The book is only 260 pages long so it is a quick read and the pictures helped create more detailed images in your mind. There are also comments by Yoda, Dooku,Obi-Wan and Ahsoka as well as several other notable Jedi's. It was a great read that will help me understand the world of Star Wars as a continue researching.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The Jedi Path is set up like a "textbook" for would-be Jedi Knights. One fun aspect is that it includes notations from "former owners" of the book such as Yoda, Dooku, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Sidious (Emperor Palpatine) and Luke Skywalker and reflects the aspects of their personalities. It is also useful for background information of the history of the Jedi order and techniques on lightsaber dueling and all things Jedi. Book is suitable for tweens through adults and I highly recommend it to all fans of the Star Wars saga.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5As a Star Wars lover and wannabe Jedi, I found this little book to be a fun (and actually quite informative) read. It's set up like an actual manual/textbook, complete with marginal notes from Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Luke Skywalker himself, among others. There are also pictures, illustrations, and diagrams throughout. What I really enjoyed was the little disagreements with the Jedi teachings that some of the note-takers expressed (especially Luke regarding attachment and love). It shows that maybe the Jedi did not always know what was best. Luke also offers little hints about how things are going with his own Jedi order, which makes me eager to read the Star Wars books that take place after Return of the Jedi.In all, a delightfully nerdy read for Star Wars fans and aspiring Jedi Knights.
