Ghanim Mushtaq Career Essay There are many careers in the world, most of which many people dont

know about. For me to find my career, Im trying to focus on a job that I like, and also provide me with security and health. Im interesting in chemistry, biochemistry and engineering. I like science and math, those subjects going to help me to choose my career. When I took the personality test, the result was that Im a responsible person, and I make my decision based on facts that I collected. And that is the recommendation for science and engineering.
I chose three careers that Im interesting about, the first is chemistry. Chemistry is the major study to work in a lab to explore and make new product and knowledge. You need at least a bachelors degree to work in that field. The job opportunity is bright, in PA and a lot of states around it. The average 71,770$ per year, which is a good amount for me. I chose this career because I like science and specially chemistry. It requires the same skills and tasks that Im looking for, for my career. The second career in biochemistry, its the extension of chemistry with the study of cells. But it requires masters or doctorate degree. It focuses on the chemical reaction in a living organism. I chose this career because I like science, and also because it uses two different types of science. The job opportunity looks bright. And it average good amount of money, counting 81,480$ per year. Also a lot of universities offer this major. And I like to point that the people how study biochemistry, can also study clinical biochemistry which is a similar to a doctor. The third and final career I chose is mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineering is performing duties, plan and design tools, and also solve problems. I chose this career because I used to like engineering before, Solving problems and making parts for a design. I need to have at least a bachelors

degree. The job opportunity in that field looks bright. In order to pursue in this job, I need to know a lot about physics and calculus. The average salary is 80,580$ per year, and a lot of colleges offer that career with scholarships. From these entire careers I will chose to be chemists. Chemistry is something I like, and I feel I can continue in that career because I like the material and the money that it offers. I can also continue studying and get a degree in biochemistry, at least a masters degree. I dont think I want to be a mechanical engineer. The tasks and objectives for that job dont meet my needs or expectation. Plus I rather study something I like and think I can continue with, than just take a job for the salary of it.
