Reflection
The workshop that I conducted went ver& well. All participants had a ver& clear understanding of how to use our new online s&stem of managing professional learning hours. Although the state is currentl& not requiring professional learning hours in order for re7 certification purposes2 the count& still requires us to have at least $% hours each &ear. This is the first &ear that we are using an online s&stem to manage and track professional learning hours. 8efore2 staff members would attend a training or course and receive a paper completion form that had to be turned in to each school9s professional learning liaison. 3verall2 I am pleased with the outcomes of the training. The data suggests that all participants either agreed or strongl& agreed with all the questions on the evaluation form. articipants left feeling comfortable and confident with using the new and improved wa& of

managing professional learning hours. I reall& en'o&ed conducting the training2 although this is not2 b& far2 m& first time training a group of educators. I am a count& level trainer2 as well as a classroom teacher2 for this newl& adopted s&stem. I have learned that technolog& does fail at times2 and we have to move forward and make the most of the technologies we have available. :ith this opportunit& of training and what I9ve learned through m& graduate classes2 I am confident that I have what it takes to become a technolog& leader in our school s&stem.
