Introduction

Overview The national Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) was founded in 1968 by a decree of the Late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, then the Ruler of Abu Dhabi. NBAD is ranked by the prestigious Global Finance in its Worlds top 50 Safest Banks since 2009, and the Safest Bank in the Emerging Markets and the Safest Bank in the Middle East. And is listed in the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), under stock code NBAD History After the United Arab Emirates was founded in 1971, NBAD played a key advisory role to the Currency Board that eventually establish dirham and the Central Bank of the UAE in 1973. In 1975, NBAD opened its first overseas branch in Egypt, and followed it with expansion into Sudan and Oman the following year. Before the decade closed, NBAD opened branches in London and Paris; and launched its American operations in Washington, D.C., in 1981. NBAD expanded to the Far East in 2009, Southeast Asia in 2012, and is preparing its first office in South America, due to officially open soon in Brazil. Today, NBAD is in 18 countries across five continents; stretching from China and Hong Kong in the Far East to Malaysia in Southeast Asia; Oman, UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain in the G.C.C.; Jordan and Lebanon in the Levant; Egypt, Sudan, and Libya in Africa; France, Switzerland, Channel Islands, and UK in Europe; the USA in North America, and Brazil in South America. NBAD became a public joint stock company in 2000, bringing to the market nearly 30% of its shares when Abu Dhabi Stock Market (ADSM) was founded. NBAD is a great and successful bank, and everyone wants to work for them. As they have a lot of branches so the employees numbers are increasing rapidly over years and as they have a good reputation between the public and anyone work for them are happy. NBAD is a professional and profitable bank globally and locally. So they will help me to improve my skills and it will be a big opportunity for me to work for them. As their vision and mission that it will gain my skills and qualification. More view that I hope that my career plans and goals are match with the mission and vision of the NBAD, as they want to satisfy their customers and gain their goals in a professional methods. NBAD Vision is To be recognized as the Worlds Best Arab Bank and their mission is Be core to our chosen customers, helping them grow by providing exceptional products and services across our West-East Corridor and provide an environment to attract and develop exceptional and diverse talent. So I hope that I will help them to reach the top and to be the best. Furthermore, I wish that I choose to study accounting next year and it will help me to let them hire me in the future, and my future career is an accountant, so all of these will help me because NBAD are focusing on the banking and financial services which are related to my major and career.

NBAD had a lot of activities which are dealing with all departments but focusing on the Banking and finance services. And their Products & Services strategy is a great deal of responsibility comes with starting a new business and NBAD Business helps streamline your finances by offering convenient and efficient financial solutions.

Conclusion

Finally, I hope to have an opportunity to work for them, because Im sure that I will spend a good time and I will learn new things while I will develop my skills and improve it. Actually the main reason behind working for them is that I want to study accounting and they are for the banking and finance services, so here I will improve my calculations skills and enjoy working for them. I hope that my skills and career goals will match the job description there, for example I want to be an accountant in the future and Im good in mathematics and statistic, so these will match the accountant job description. And my career goal is to improve my skills and knowledge, and to have a good career path within a high position, so as NBAD is a private sector, they will help me to developing myself and they will give me a good position with a promotion.
