DISCUSSION Bible perspective First, evolutionists strongly deny the idea that men came from the apes.

They insist that both man and the apes came from a hypothetical ape-like ancestor, the evidence for which has not yet been discovered.Secondly, evolution does not propose that all members of a type evolved into another type, but that only a small group of individuals, genetically isolated from the others, evolved, leaving the others to remain the same.A perceptive person will recognize that both of these points are nothing more than story telling. The hypothetical ape-like ancestor does not exist, and there is no evidence that it ever did. The peripheral isolates claim may sound reasonable, and there are recent examples of isolated groups acquiring new traits through adaptation, but none of any group acquired new suites of functioning genes through random mutation, such as production of either an ape or a man from an ape-like ancestor would require. The claim that transitional individuals were few in number, and thus unlikely to be fossilized and discovered, rings hollow. The fact is, we dont have them! The evolution claims are only stories. In their story, man and apes diverged from the imaginary ancestor some seven million years ago. Surely some would be fossilized. We should also ask, how could such a transition happen? The only way we know to acquire new genes is to alter existing genes through random mutation. The best alteration science has observed has produced only novel recombinationsmost deteriorate the genetic information and thus harm the offspring. Many mutations are fatal. Evolution requires trillions of innovative mutations to produce man from lower forms, and at least millions to produce man or apes from an ape-like ancestor.None have been observed.Evolution tales are pseudo-scientific stories about an imaginary history. Evolution is best understood as an anti-God origins myth, attempting to explain mans existence without a Creator. ARTICLE :If Apes Evolved into Humans,Why Do We Still Have Apes? by John D. Morris, Ph.D. *Dr. John D. Morris is the President of the Institute for Creation Research.

However, many scientists have refuted this theory. Dr. Sourial, for instance, mentioned that there are missing links between humans and living beings that are inferior to them and even between classes of other living organisms as well. Dallas, one of the naturalists who refuted the theory, established that we should adopt the view that man was created in his present state without having undergone any evolution. Professor Rudolf Virchow stated that there are definite differences between man and apes and that the theory of Darwin does not even deserve mention in scientific circles. George Mivart said that Darwins theory resembles childish thoughts. Huxley, Darwins friend, stated that Darwins theory has not yet been proved to be true. Besides these, there are many other scientific opinions that we will not mention for the sake of brevity.

What Darwin said was a theory, not a fact or a law. Therefore, it may be false or true. However, reality does not support it. Had it been a true theory we would have seen the evolution of many animals and humans coming about through evolution, not just reproduction. The ability to adapt, which we observe in some creatures (such as the chameleon which changes its color according to the surrounding environment) is an inherent ability. Some creatures possess it in abundance, others to a lesser degree. However, it does not surpass its limits in any creature. Consequently, the ability to adapt is an inherent characteristic, not an evolving one that is formed by the environment as the holders of this theory claim. Had their claim been true, the environment would have subjected stones, dust, and other solid bodies to adaptation. With regards to the stance of Islam on this theory, we will highlight it in several points: 1- The opinion that nature creates things randomly and that there was no creator for man clashes with the Quran. Allaah the Almighty Says (what means): {Allaah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs.}[Quran 39:62] {Indeed, all things We created with predestination.}[Quran 54:49]

Besides these, there are many other relevant verses.

2- The claim to know how living organisms came into existence on earth is refuted by the verse in which Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {I did not make them witness to the creation of the heavens and the earth or to the creation of themselves.}[Quran 18:51]

Allaah The Almighty told us that He created man as an independent, perfect creation. He told the angels about the creation of man before He brought him into existence. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority."}[Quran 2:30]

Allah The Almighty also told us about the matter from which man was created. He created man from clay -- a mixture of water and dust. Allaah the Almighty Says (what means): {We created you from dust}[Quran 22:5] In a Hadeeth (narration) on the authority of Abu Moosaa Al-Ashari the Prophet , mentioned that Allaah The Almighty created Aadam, (Adam) from a handful of dust that was taken from all parts of the earth, therefore mankind differs in their appearances and natures. [At-Tirmithi and Abu Daawood] Water is also an element in the creation of man. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {Allaah has created every [living] creature from water.}[Quran 24:45]

Allaah The Almighty created man with His Hands. He Says (what means): {[Allaah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands?}[Quran 38:75] That clay turned into clay like that of pottery: Allaah the Almighty Says (what means): {He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.}[Quran 55:14]

The first man was Aadam . The creation of man was not incomplete in the beginning and then completed later as evolutionists claim. The Prophet , told us in a Hadeeth that Allaah The Almighty created Aadam and his stature was sixty cubits. Believers will enter Paradise in a perfect shape, thus they will enter Paradise in the shape of Aadam . He also told us in the same Hadeeth that since then creation has been in a continuous diminishment of stature. [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]

3- Their opinion that survival is for the fittest and that disasters are the reason behind the destruction of weak creatures is refuted by the fact that death claims the strong and the weak alike. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed.}[Quran 67:2]

4- Finally, we remind you of the great principle which nullifies this theory altogether: that Allaah The Almighty honored the son of Aadam . Tracing back the origin of man to apes is not befitting of such an honor. Allaah the Almighty Says (what means): {And We have certainly honored the children of Aadam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference.}[Quran 17:70] 95:4] {We have certainly created man in the best of stature.}[Quran

Darwin himself regarded his theory based on assumptions. Darwinism has been scientifically rejected. The defeat of Darwinism in the faces of science can be reviewed under three basic topics : 1The Darwinism theory cannot scientifically explain how life originated on Earth. 2No scientific finding shows that the evolutionary mechanism proposed by the theory have any evolutionary power at all.

3The fossil record provided proves the exact opposite of what the theory suggests.

THE CREATION OF HUMAN BEINGS IN QURAN Quranic statements dealing with human creation are plentiful. The Quran deals with such subjects as the creation of the first man, human reproduction, morphological differences among different races, their death and resurrection. Theistic evolutionists have raised some serious questions concerning the creation of man. From the Quran, we find that Adam was the first man and he was made of clay : Behold, the Lord said to the angels: I am about to create man from clay.(Surah Sod,38:71) The phases about to create man, from clay certainly means that man did not exist before and Allah was going to create him for the first time. This verse therefore refers to the creation of the first man. After creating the first man, Allah asked the angels to bow down to him; Iblis refused and was driven out of paradise. There are so many verses of the Quran, and Hadiths that leave no doubt that Adam was the first man. The Prophets saying that All of you are from Adam, and Adam was from dust also shows that the first human being was Adam. Indeed,

according to the Quran and Hadith, Adam was born without parents, and there is no mention of any other lineage. There only one verse in the whole Quran which describes the birth of Adam as somewhat miraculous. This verse says: Surely Isa is like Adam in the sight of Allah. He created him of clay, then said to him: Be!and he was.(Surah Annisa 3:59) This verse shatters the hope of tracing mans ancestry beyond Adam. Not only can Allah create man without parents, but he did create Adam this way. The truth (comes) from God alone; so be not of thise who doubt. (Surah Annisa,3:60) Ibnu Kathir interpretes this verse in the following way: Allah manifested His omnipotence by creating Adam without parents, Eve from a male without female, Jesus from female without male, as He created the rest of mankind from both male and female. This is the saying of God, so let there be no doubt about it. Todays man is not the evolutionary descendant of Adam, but simply Adams children.
