INTRODUCTION
Dynamic of space and population pressures cause changes in landuse in the upstream watershed. Its increase of erotion and sedimentation at"interface" in Baubau. This research aims are analyze the current distribution pattern of sediments and the influence on the development of green space.

CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

The largest rate of sedimentation "interface" watershed and coastal areas of the Baubau city about 3 ton/ha/yr with covering an area of 37 ha or 2.67% and the lowest <0.2 ton/ha/yr with covering an area of 23 ha or (1, 66%). Scenario addition of green open space can reduce the rate of sedimentation about 1.184 ton / ha/year to 0.751 ton/ha/year, and a reduction the average sediment in each scenario was 0.358 ton/ha/year.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

The amount of sediment coming into the main river every year in urban areas zone (along the coast and river of Baubau have sedimentation 0.2 to 1.5 ton /ha/year. The calculation are: first if it is assumed that the average sedimentation is 0,65 tons / ha / year; secondly if heavy soil types litosol (land in the urban areas of Baubau) with textures are generally ranged between 1.2 and 1.3 ton/m3. If taken the median is 1.25 ton/m3 , so the amount of sediment supply to the sea and the river estuary of Baubau which is the part of this region approximately 1387/1, 25 = 1109.6 m3/year. .
