SchoolFundraiser We have an opportunity to easily raise money for our school by participating in available programs:
While this score is 72 points lower than our inaugural 879 API in 2012, we are proud of our results because: We exceeded the state goal for schools of an 800 API. We continue to exceed the expectation established in our charter petition which says we will achieve an 800 API in five years. FS met that goal in its first year of operation and continued to meet the goal in our second year of operation, even with the addition of a new school.
1. Box Tops For Education All you have to do is clip off the box tops from your food products. We have a collection container in the office. To learn more about the program check out their website: http://www.boxtops4education.com
Our FS & WLCP TEAM has met the expectation of the state and our charter authorizer under unusual circumstances. Our 2013 API score of 807 represents: Scores from significantly more students: 144 students grades 2-4 in 2013 vs. 44 students grades 2-3 in 2012 Two campuses together, instead of just one Results from a first year school (WLCP) combined with a second year school (FS)
The API scores are open to the public; you can check-out API scores on the CDE website at this link: http://dq.cde.ca.gov/dataquest/ Again major kudos to all of you!
