Creative Thinking Creativity is a big factor in this industry.

If you are creative then you have a say in this society. People who are creative always find ways to speak their mind. People who are creative have a place in the society if not, they make ways for themselves. Society looks for creative people, pays for them and adores them, making creative people very aggressive with their creations. According to Merriam Webster, creative means having or showing an ability to make new things or think of new ideas. Advertisers, film makers, writers, composers, designers etc. are the people who find comfort in making simple things grand. Give a hand to them for it is never easy to create and re-create something. It is never easy to think and make it work. Creativity may look really simple but it is not. It is a mind-breaking gift. Is Creativity Born within You? While doing this, I thought, is creativity born with you or you just learn it eventually? So upon making this article I read through the internet about human brains. Study says that human brain is divided into two regions: the left brain and the right brain. If you are a left brained person you are most probably logical. While if you are right brained you tend to be more creative. Carl Sherman said, The human brain is basically symmetrical, split down the middle: the right cerebral hemisphere receives sensory input from and directs movement on the left side of the body, while the left hemisphere governs corresponding functions for the right side. The left brain is the intellectual brain. If you are logical, intellectual and analytical you are a left brained person. And if you are emotional and creative you are a right brained person.

According to Christoper Wanjek, Popular culture would have you believe that logical, methodical and analytical people are left-brain dominant, while the creative and artistic types are right-brain dominant. Trouble is, science never really supported this notion. There was never proof that one part of the brain is greater than the other. I am not going to be scientific here and discuss about the right brain and left brain. I will not discuss about its description and work process and the percentage of its usage. Im not going to defend who is greater than the other. Because admittedly, it is hard to tell you about something that is technical and scientific. Leave it to the experts. All that I am going to say is that, creativity is hard work. For some people they were born with very creative minds. These people can think out of the box. They have ideas that an ordinary person cannot think of. They have an eye for anything that they see. They have an understanding that is very deep. Start Being Creative According to Jenny Warner in her article The Science of Creativity, Creativity cannot be learned for sure. We are born with creativity within ourselves and one would be utter misinformed if he/she thinks that creativity is something that can be imbibed. This is the major myth that surrounds every individual. Do you remember the first time you started drawing then your mom smiles and say that you drew great? Well, she isnt lying to you. When you start holding that crayon and extending your hands to make strokes of lines it is a signal that you have a potential in drawing. That is why starting from that moment she is going to encourage you to draw more. A persons creativity starts from the moment he is born and eventually

develops as he grows. But a persons potential to be great at anything continues from how he improves it. Abraham Maslow said, Creativity is a characteristic given to all human beings at birth. We are all creative but if we did not practice our creativity then it will be like stagnant water, not moving. So when you see yourself into something, do not be afraid to work on it. Do it and improve, because as a quotation says, great things start from small beginnings. Your leap of courage will bring you to success.
