Subject: ONLINE REGISTRATION OF ALL INTERESTED PRE-FINAL YEAR STUDENTS WITH THE PLACEMENT CENTRE 2015 PASSING OUT BATCH Kind Attention: Pre Final Year Students B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MS (Software Engineering) and M.Sc (Computer Science) 2015 passing out batch

All other Pre Final year students (other than the above streams, fulfilling the Eligibility) would be registered as and when a concerned company visits our campus.
Eligibility: Only students with 6.0 CGPA in UG and PG as applicable and no current arrears. PAT Registration Fee: a) Students who are interested in attending campus interviews are requested to register by paying a non-refundable PAT fees as follows: Course PAT registration fees B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and MS (SE) Rs.4000/- (Rupees four thousand only) M.Sc (Computer Science) Rs.2000/- (Rupees two thousand only) at our University Cash Counter mentioning PAT Registration Account. Payments are accepted before 5.00 p.m. in the Cash Counter on all working days. b) Registration fee collected will be used for training also. c) Please keep the original receipt with you. Please register in the PAT registration link (http://182.19.48.208/pat2014/). The link is also available in Placement page of our VIT website (http://vit.ac.in/placement.asp) on or before 27th January 2014.
Online registration can be done only after the payment of PAT registration fee, as the registration requires PAT registration fee receipt details. Violation of PAT norms: a) Students planning for higher studies are not eligible for Dream offers. They are allowed to attend only Software services companies interviews (Like Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro etc.,). VIT will not issue No Objection certificate or recommendation letters to those students who get selected in Dream companies and later plan to pursue their higher education Dream companies wil notified in PAT notices. b) Only registered students will be allowed for campus interviews and other training programmes organized by the placement centre. Those students attending campus interview without registering and not fulfilling the eligibility criteria (as on date of selection test) would be summarily rusticated from the University for bringing disgrace to the University. Students with arrears: Students with arrears should not register now. After the publication of the results of the exams to be conducted in April / May 2014, there would be another registration exclusively for the students who would become arrear/supplementary-free then. Similarly any one becoming with arrear(s)/supplementary(s) should not attend any interview till cleared. Important Note: Read the notice on categories (separately issued) Available in PAT Notice board (Main building/SJT 7 th Floor) Fill up the online PAT registration form ACCURATELY & CORRECTLY. Please ensure that your academic scores are correctly entered (caution should be taken while entering 10 th %, 12th % and UG % etc.,) Please ensure that all Data fields in the online Application form are filled in Wherever nothing has to be written, please write N.A. or nil as applicable Provide accurate information regarding academic credentials, such as year of passing, university/ board, marks and percentages. Intentional or unintentional misrepresentation of data can lead to disqualification of candidature or termination of employment, if made an offer. The registration requires your semester-wise CGPA. Please ignore the semesters column (if the results are not announced or not relevant. Please have a copy of the receipt while doing the online registration as it requires receipt number and date. Corrections may be made, but you may need to fill in all the details all over again. Important Note: 1. Registration is purely voluntary. 2. It is informed that students in category III, IV and V may not expect many companies as almost all the companies visiting VIT for Campus Placement insist on 60% consistency and less than 2 years gap (i.e. category I and II). Hence PAT registration is as per your discretion/decision only.
