Head - Sharia Department Dr. Muddassir Siddiqui heads the Sharia Board of Dar at Tawafuq. He is a world renowned sharia scholar and has a long list of accolades to his credit, which includes Sharia Board Member of Bank Sohar, Senior Lawyer & Sharia Supervisor at Islamic Development Bank, Legal & Sharia Consultant to several governments, Member at Fiqh council of North America, Member of Sharia Committee at Thomson Reuters, Member of Sharia standards Review Committee at AAOIFI to name a few. He published many articles and books in Sharia related issues as well as in Islamic banking and finance. He is actively involved in the global & regional development of Islamic Banking and Finance in varied capacities of lecturer, researcher, trainer and consultant, etc.

Sharia Board Member Shaikh Ibrahim Al-Sawafi holds the office of Learned Secretary at the Ifta Office of the Ministry of Auqaf & Religious Affairs of Oman. Shaikh Al-Sawafi is a renowned sharia scholar and. He is member of several sharia boards in Oman. He regularly speaks in Islamic banking & finance seminars and

conferences and is an active participant in the development of the Islamic banking & finance industry in Oman.

Sharia Board Member Associate Professor Dr Younes Soualhi is currently the deputy dean of the Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (llBF) and a lecturer in the department of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He serves as the chairman of the Shariah board of HSBC Amanah Malaysia, a Sharia board member of Munich Re Takaful and a founding member of the French Council of Islamic Finance (Collis), Paris. He published many articles and books in Sharia related issues as well as in Islamic banking and finance. He is actively involved in Islamic Banking and Finance as a lecturer, researcher, trainer and consultant.

Islamic Banking & Finance Legal Advisor Mr. Janashal is a prominent lawyer in Oman. He received his Law Degree in Public Law, International Relations Division from Mohamed I University in Oujda, Morocco in 1993 and holds a Masters Degree in International Commercial Legal Transactions & Logistics from Egypt. He is specialised in Islamic banking & finance, companies, capital market, banks, mergers and acquisitions, due-diligence and corporate structuring. He is regularly consulted for Islamic banking & finance related laws in Oman, and has been involved in major commercial projects of importance to national economy. He has also advised clients, both local and foreign, in the matters of investment, joint venture and foreign capital investments.

Islamic Banking & Finance Legal Advisor Mr. Faizy Syed holds a Masters Degree in Law (Islamic Banking) from the International Islamic University of Malaysia and got trained under some prominent Islamic finance advisory firms in Malaysia. He is associated with some Islamic banking & finance related works in India and advises several bodies active in the Islamic finance industry. He also acts as Legal & Sharia Manager of India International Centre for Promotion of Islamic Banking & Finance, Trustee at India International Centre for Promotion of Halal Goods & Services as well as Strategic Advisor to Infinity Consultants for sustained development of Islamic banking & finance education in India. He is involved in Islamic banking & finance advisory & investment as well as Islamic banking & finance curriculum development.

Nora Hussein__________________________________________________
Legal Advisor Ms. Nora holds a Masters Degree in International and Comparative Law from the University of London and completed the Legal Practice Course and training at the College of Law, London. As a senior member of the legal team, she handles commercial and corporate matters including drafting commercial agreements and corporate governance, besides a range of other related services. She has been associated with several pro bono works with NGOs and is passionate about pro bono work and social justice issues. She is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales, and has also been associated with some Islamic charitable bodies in the UK.
