The proposed fund will focus on investments in affordable healthcare, education, water & sanitation, food & agri services, housing, energy & livelihood. This job description is for the role of a Partner for this South Asia fund. Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Fund closing: lead the fund raising process including preparation of the proposal, managing relationships with LPs and coordination of the legal procedure for fund closing. 2) Deal sourcing: Develop relationships with leading private companies by proactively meeting the entrepreneurs, investment bankers and other investors and lead the deal pipeline creation process. 3) Work closely with the investment teams to create and execute investments. 4) Assist with select portfolio company projects. 5) Develop strategic plan for scheduled assessment and exit roadmap for the portfolio companies. 6) Develop relationships with other potential investors and advisors and actively promote the fund mandate to attract high quality deals and create lucrative exit routes for the fund. 15+ years of transaction experience in buy/sell side, primarily international. Experience working with cross-border transaction and investment operations. People management and cross-team execution experience. Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Overseas work experience and fluency in one regional language a major plus.
