Creative Media Production out safely" (ontrol o+ substances ha"ardous to health #(0S!!$ #1221$ - As the name suggests su!stances are involved heavily in this act which won't !e relevant to this pro$ects situation" This act helps control employees e+posure to su!stances which in turn keeps them safer and healthier" Provision and use o+ 3ork e'uipment regulation #1--4$ - This regulation is relevant to this risk assessment and will need to !e considered" This act mentions whether e,uipment is suita!le for the intended purpose which links to the section a!out condition of the e,uipment" This section poses ,uestions such as- Is the e,uipment safe to use. If it's starting to !ecome faulty will it deteriorate. These are some of the ,uestions that I will have to ask myself !efore em!arking on my photography shoots" The last piece from this act that is relevant to this pro$ect is a!out the person using the e,uipment" It says that people who have had ade,uate training with the e,uipment can only use this" I have received sufficient training with the DS/0 to carry out the capturing of my photography in this pro$ect" This regulation doesn't $ust protect the users it protects e,uipment too it filters out the people that will misuse the e,uipment so it won't get damaged" Display screen e'uipment regulation #DS&$ #1--1$ - This piece of legislation is a!out the damage of lim!s or !ody parts from operating various e,uipment" Such things as eye strain from screens and !ack pain from chairs are common !ody parts that are mentioned throughout this regulation" In this pro$ect I will have to ensure that I don't look through the lens too much so my eyes will not !e damaged" The time !ending down when operating and setting up the tripod will also !e reduced therefore reducing the risk of a !ad !ack"
