Course Outcome

COBJ 1: Robotics overlaps several engineering disciplines like electrical, mechanics, electronics, computer science and artificial intelligence.

CO 1: Graduates gets introduced with basic components of an Industrial Robot, describe the concepts of automated work Cells, understanding the important role of robots in automated manufacturing environments, and write a manual robot program for positioning. CO 2: Solve mathematical problems requisite to writing robot programs. Understand the importance of simulation and their application in Industrial Environments.

COBJ 2: This course provides an introduction to


mathematical methods for modelling and control of robot manipulators.

COBJ 3: This course presents an overview of robotics in practice and research with topics including vision, motion planning, mobile mechanisms, kinematics, inverse kinematics, and sensors.

CO 3: Students will be able to construct robots which are driven by a microcontroller

COBJ 4: The objective of the proposed course is to introduce the state-of-art technology and products in Mechatronics and Robotics to practicing Engineers and learning Researchers to enable them to take up challenging assignment in future and spread the learning to the peers and creating professional environment.

CO 4: Future Engineers will lead the science and technology of Robotics to serve the nation in a better way.
