Some of the ladies from 4th period

have some soccer experience. It is
obvious. Rahwa Contreras makes a
great player and coach for whatever
team she is on. Denae Tillery and Leila
Villacorta help their teams with their
speed, ball control, and overall
athletic ability.

Special thanks to Kortez Utley and

Keymani Wright who were responsible

Melendez, who has a great shot. It is
quick and powerful. Enjoy the weekend.

But as good as Ingrid’s shot is, on

Tuesday it was no match for goalie
Kameshia Tolliver. In the blink of an
eye, Ingrid shot the ball to the lower
left-hand corner of the goal.
Kameshia spotted the ball, turned her
foot sideways, and made a ridiculous
kick save that kept her team in the
game. This was clearly the save of
the day! The rest of the girl’s in 4th
period did a wonderful job throughout
their soccer unit. Hopefully, many will
continue to play after school.
