PROJECT & ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT:

Coordinated the activities of AS9100C certification as well as the training and implementation of all the new policies and procedures required to stay compliant. Managed the beta release of a rail safety monitoring system, for a railroad company, to increase the safety of rail travel. Managed and coordinated the input, release and maintenance of all BOMs, documentation and drawing needed to maintain the MRP and ERP systems.

Championed and facilitated the purchase of an automated router to remove small units from assembly panels with minimal damage, enabling company to achieve forecasted project profits as well as an additional 10% profit due to reduced labor and time requirements. Accelerated revenue 150% by extending business into the transformer testing market; coordinated a design team and identified test criteria, launching a ground-breaking product that tested 35 transformer characteristics.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS:
Saved $1.5M in labor and downtime expenses per month by, utilizing lean manufacturing principles, realigning and streamlining procedures as well as introducing new capital equipment, structuring new line practices, and lowering waste. Company was short on business so I reestablished relationships with past customers and brought new business in to boost revenue.
