Shampoo Formulation

Procedure: This formulation can be made by the simple sequential addition of the ingredients in the order shown with sufficient agitation. Do not add Poly SugaPearl to a heated formulation as this will reduce the intensity of the pearl. Add color, fragrance, and preservative as desired. Check physical properties after these adjustments. Appearance: Opaque liquid Viscosity: 2600 cps. 10% pH: Adjust to 5.5 - 6.5 with 50% citric acid as needed

Procedure: Add Poly SugaPearl to a room temperature formulation to retain the intensity of the pearl. Add color, fragrance, and preservative as desired. Check physical properties after these adjustments. Adjust to 5.5 6.5 with 50% citric acid as needed. Appearance: Opaque, pearlized liquid Activity: 27.0% Viscosity: 1200 cps. pH (10% aqueous): 5.8

BIODEGRADABILITY Poly SugaPearl is readily biodegradable. STORAGE / HANDLING It is recommended that Poly SugaPearl be stored in sealed containers at temperatures not exceeding 120F (49C). Poly SugaPearl is shipped in 55 gallon open-head poly drums (net weight 450 lb/204 kg). Typical shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacture.
