INTRUDER ALARM SYSTEM

Home burglar alarms are often systems assembled from inexpensive infrared detectors that the home owner or the security contractor will install in front of all the windows and doors in the house. These infrared sensors are designed for indoor use only and should not be used outside. The cost of installing outdoor sensors is higher and false alarm prone. A more complete home alarm also includes magnetic sensors on the doors and windows. These sensors will alarm the system when a door or window is opened. These sensors do not protect against glass breakage. The sensors are connected to a control panel that is operated by a keypad. The control panel processes intrusion signals and rings sirens and/or communicates to a monitoring service which then calls the owner and/or police department. This is the basic form of home alarm system. Burglar (or intrusion ! fire! and safety alarms are all electronic today. 'ntruder Alarm system pro-ect main idea is to develop a application which can provide security for house from thief. .enerally burglars enter in to house from windows or from main doors. "o this application works on infrared signals. '( this system there are two types of systems one which works internally and one which work externally. This pro-ect mainly deals with internal design i/ e! system setup is inside the house. 0xternal setup is not accurate and there are chances of wrong calculation. The ma-or action in this system is controlled by transmitter section1 this section consists of '$ transmitter and '$ receiver. Here we need to generate '$ fre2uency continuously! so that by using a small tiny microcontroller! fre2uency is produced and is connected to the '$ led to generate '$ light rays of 34 kH* fre2uency. '$ receiver continuously receives the signals from the transmitter .when ever the light path in between '$ transmitter and '$ receiver cuts by an intruder! receiver signal

gives low to high pulse. By connecting the receiver output to the micro controller interrupt pin! it gives interrupt to the microcontroller. 'mmediately the system gives the bu**er. Applications can be used in areas where Trespassing is prohibited! 'ndustries where authentication is re2uired and people who need privacy.
